“Towne Tavern is our favorite local watering hole! The staff are super friendly and make the place, especially Amanda and Andie. The daily specials and bingo/music bingo give something fun to do. I work from home so getting out of the house for fun and hanging out with the locals is what it’s all about. We’ve been coming to the place for a while and think the food has been so much better under new management. Definitely check it out if you haven’t been!“

The lively atmosphere, authentic live music, and delicious Brazilian food make every visit special. The staff are welcoming and attentive, and there’s always a great vibe—whether you’re watching a game, listening to great music or just hanging out. Highly recommend for a fun night out. Kids are also welcomed :)“

“I can’t say enough about my incredible experience at Mexicali Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was met with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.

The service was absolutely outstanding. Brithney and Stefanie went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

Now, onto the food—wow! I started with the guacamole, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The sopes were an absolute highlight: crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and topped with the most delicious ingredients. A pitcher of margaritas was the perfect pairing—refreshing, tangy, and just the right amount of kick. To top it all off, the flan was the grand finale I didn’t know I needed: creamy, silky, and a perfect blend of sweetness to end the meal on a high note.

Mexicali Restaurant delivers not just incredible food but an exceptional dining experience, thanks to amazing servers like Brithney and Stefanie. I’ll definitely be back soon and recommending this spot to everyone I know!“

“Just wanted to tell you about my visit to Voodoo Wings – it was fantastic. Their fried pickles were insanely good, super crispy on the outside and juicy inside, fresh from the fryer. I seriously couldn’t stop eating them. The chicken salad sandwich was next level, especially with that slightly toasted Hawaiian bun that added the perfect touch of sweetness to the salty chicken salad. Also, shoutout to Helen, one of the servers, who was super warm and welcoming. She greeted us with a big smile, took our order, and even served us at the table, which was a nice change since it’s usually walk up and order. Helen made the whole experience really special. “Reviewing this place after I have been here for more than 10 times and having tried many items from menu. Some of the best foods to get here are punugulu and uthapam as they make them fresh and hot. Some of the overrated dishes include paneer dosa, chicken frankie, egg bonda, samosas and any indo chinese items - these dishes were just decent ane maybe a one time try. Some of these overrated items are also on a pricer side compared to other competitors in that area. The owner and the people who prepare the food are kind. A place to visit if you want to have some evening snacks or tiffin.“

“The host was AMAZING we had a big party and they accommodated us quickly and efficiently. Our waitress J was awesome however the kitchen staff FAILED horribly with a few of the meals! The chicken and waffles were a hit! They didn’t have the chicken and dumplings soup which was a huge FAILED specifically because they failed to tell us instilled after we had been waiting WELL over 30 minutes for even the first meal to come out! All of the food was luke warm EXCEPT the fries which replaced the chicken and dumplings soup! The moonshine peach 5 dollar special shots were ALSO A HIT! So my REAL review #Hostess 11/10… Jay our waitress 10/10 (only because I feel the food should have been brought out as it became ready EVEN if the kitchen failed miserably) food taste 7/10 because my daughter loved her chicken and waffles! And my son didn’t LOVE the chicken. But overall the atmosphere was nice. Jay did have a lot to handle with our big group and some allergies BUT in my opinion SHE HANDLED HERSELF WELL UNDER STRESS AND ISSUES OUT OF HER CONTROL! I think I would go back but maybe not with a group and definitely not 2 hours to closing I think the kitchen staff probably gives up at that point and figure you get what you get!“

“I'm not sure why the reviews for this location is bad. The food was excellent, my man and I went on a Tuesday night, it was empty. We did the 2 for $25 we each got 2 meals and an appetizer. There's an upcharge for the streak and shrimp but portions are large, everything was fresh. Our server Savanah was quick and friendly, checked on us multiple times and gave an update with everything.“
