“Towne Tavern is our favorite local watering hole! The staff are super friendly and make the place, especially Amanda and Andie. The daily specials and bingo/music bingo give something fun to do. I work from home so getting out of the house for fun and hanging out with the locals is what it’s all about. We’ve been coming to the place for a while and think the food has been so much better under new management. Definitely check it out if you haven’t been!“

“Cool place for Karaoke on Fridays or to see a band or to watch football in Fort Mil l/ Tega Cay. Read the couple negative reviews on here - never saw any of that. Little hidden gem. No Pretense (it's literally attached to a gas station). Check it out if you live within 10 - 15 min of Carowinds....worth it. I am a little older but I don't feel old there and it's a 2 or 3 generation kind of spot. Nothing fancy - a couple pool tables, outdoor section, some games and a little stage.“

“We've been to VooDoo Wings at least a dozen times in the last year and they never fail. They always get your order right (which is harder than it looks around here) and they always provide great service for both take out and dine in. All their sauces are great and very juicy. I will always be down to get VooDoo wings.
The one and only feedback/complaint is that their sidewinder fries aren't great. I'd prefer classic crinkle cut with my wings but maybe that's just a personal preference.“

“James, Hayden and our bartender; I forgot her name (Eagles hat/Virgo) were phenomenal! Today was The day We had a ice storm and I called a few different locations just to see if they were open. Not many places were open, but after speaking with James on the phone, we knew that’s where we wanted to eat lunch. Upon arrival to Mac’s, James greeted us at the door and put us in the hands of Hayden. Every request my fiancé and I placed, was fulfilled in a timely manner by Hayden and the team even though they were very busy! Upon leaving, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to have another drink at the bar which included $4 mimosas where we were able to watch the start to the Patriots & Broncos AFC Championship Game!!!“

“I went to the restaurant for the first time and the waiter who served me very well was Gustavo, he is very friendly and attentive. I felt like it was the first time eating Brazilian food. He gave me great recommendations. I really liked his service and whenever I go back I want to be served by him. Thank you very much. “Visited Vindhu on Wheels after a long drive, and I was honestly shocked (in the best way!) by how good the food was. Street style indian food is not easy to find, but these guys nailed it, the taste took me right back to India. I tried their Chicken Frankie, noodles, keema fried rice, and a few tiffins as well, and the flavors were consistently spot on across everything. Truly impressive and highly recommended!“

“Karaoke Thursday was awesome. Several very talented singers were in the house. The draft beer selection seemed extensive however several of the options were unavailable. Surprisingly there were no seasonal options such as pumpkin or Octoberfest beers. Our server was very attentive and kept our drinks filled throughout the evening. One low point was the food offerings. We ordered several items and everything seemed to be frozen and not freshly prepared in house. Specifically the chicken strips ordered were of good quality however were processed frozen strips. The burgers are angus grade according to the menu but are frozen. One positive note is they have tater tots. All of the food received was hot and prepared as expected. The prices for the food and beer are reasonable. Overall. A good time and a fun time.“

“I had a VERY long day. At 10:30 PM I remembered Hickory Tavern's 50% off burger is today/Tuesday. Thankfully, I'm only 2 min away from the restaurant. Only 2 customers remained, and the employees were preparing for tomorrow. The manager and the staff was amazing!

“Incredible experience! Our soccer team from KY came to Charlotte to play and stumbled upon Hickory Tavern. They were incredibly accommodating for our large group of 40+ people. The service and food were great and the atmosphere was perfect for a team. Would strongly recommend to anyone in the area!“

“I’m not sure who’s working in the kitchen, but I literally just ordered and you guys know you’re wrong for making me fall in love with the pasta like that! “I'm not sure why the reviews for this location is bad. The food was excellent, my man and I went on a Tuesday night, it was empty. We did the 2 for $25 we each got 2 meals and an appetizer. There's an upcharge for the streak and shrimp but portions are large, everything was fresh. Our server Savanah was quick and friendly, checked on us multiple times and gave an update with everything.“
