I absolutely love this place !! We recently visited for my birthday it was absolutely delicious. Pam Yarbrough was the sweetest most caring lady. Pam made us feel so welcome she was very polite and answered all our questions very professionally. We can not wait to go back and visit again. We would highly recommend you give them a try and ask for Pam Yarbrough she will make you feel so welcomed.

Long Island Cafe is a popular restaurant that offers a variety of seafood options, including shrimp, scallops, oysters, and flounder, which can be mixed and matched to suit individual tastes. Guests often praise the fantastic oysters and the crab stuffed shrimp, along with other delicious entrees like the parmesan crusted salmon and ahi tuna. Portion sizes are generous, and the restaurant is known for its delicious key lime pie with a great graham cracker crust and real whipped cream. The staff is very helpful, especially with food allergy requirements, and the service is often described as awesome and efficient. The bartenders can make a great martini, and the restaurant is one of the few places where a 6-top can reserve. While it can get busy, the staff work hard to ensure a pleasant dining experience by delivering food in a timely manner. Customers appreciate the friendly service and the attentive servers, who are usually very accommodating. The restaurant is quiet on Sundays during brunch, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal. Visitors have enjoyed the clam chowder and she crab soup as appetizers, praising their quality. The shrimp, especially the peel and eat variety, is large and tasty, while the fried shrimp and scallop combination is highly recommended as guests often finish their plates. The crab cakes are considered passable, though small for their price, but the stuffed shrimp with crab offers a better crab experience. Service staff are attentive, with one noting that bread is brought promptly. Overall, Long Island Cafe is a great choice for special occasions or casual dining, with many visitors suggesting to save room for dessert, especially the key lime pie or Chocolate Peanut Butter pie. The restaurant’s friendly atmosphere and excellent service, highlighted during celebrations like birthdays, make it a favorite among guests.
