I go out to breakfast 7 days a week x 365 days a year .. have had my morning meal in several South Carolina establishments..you get the picture. Sunrise Bistro recently hired a a baker, Maddy. I have had a blueberry, lemon, cranberry/orange and nutella/raspberry muffin..I can say without hesitation these are by far the best muffins I have ever had. I have a strong preference for beer on tap but recently tried Ghost Monkey's Belgian Wit which is a can pour only and it was love at first taste. Our server, Amy, was amazing. She was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, making us feel completely at home and well taken care of throughout the meal. Her recommendations were spot on!

One dish I did manage to snap a photo of was the General Tso Cauliflower — an absolute must-try. Perfectly crispy with just the right balance of sweetness and heat, it’s the kind of appetizer you’ll be thinking about long after the meal.

We also enjoyed the Mediterranean Chicken Risotto and the Pasta Piccata. Both were wonderful in their own right — the risotto was creamy and comforting, while the piccata had a bright, lemony kick that was just delicious.

“Where do the locals eat? Here. Fresh local seafood options. Great steaks. Clutch menu for everyone. Very reasonable drink prices. Always has intriguing specials. Highly recommend, until I can't get a reservation - then you can't go there anymore.“

“We like Seewee and go a few times every year. The food is good. My only co.plaint is the fish stew. There was no fish in it except maybe a flec or two. It was canned diced tomatoes in a bowl, no flavor at all. I have never asked to not charge me for a dish at a restaurant but I wish I had.“

We ordered the gyoza, crab cheese wonton, angry dragon roll, pad thai with chicken and the shrimp and steak hibachi. First off the appetizers came out immediately after the soup and salad and then they brought the sushi. Then about 3 minutes later our entrees were brought to our table. We weren't able to even finish one appetizer before we had our entrees. Staggering the dishes works wonders so customers dont feel rushed and have plenty of room. The freshness of the sushi and the flavor was off the charts. Some of the best gyoza and the crab cheese wonton was top 5 quality. We've tried alot. The steak and shrimp was good but the rice lacked flavor and was just bland. The yum yum sauce was a bit too sweet but the downer was the pad thai. It didnt have that sweet taste that the usual pad thai has..maybe it was missing palm sugar or tamarind paste. They did give us dessert on the house which seemed to be for each table which was nice.“

“I would like to share my and my wife's experience at your restaurant. We went with some friends to celebrate her birthday and have some fun playing trivia. I notified our waitress and manager of the celebration and ordered a dessert with a candle that they could present to her. Our waitress wasn't sure if they had candles or not but would check with her manager. Minutes later she informed me that the manager was running across the street to get some candles at the grocery store. The manager and staff came to our table and presented her with the dessert with a candle, flowers and a card signed by the staff! All of us at the table were amazed the extent the staff went to make her special day very memorable! Thank you Steel City Pizza for bringing a smile to all our faces!

“Walked in and ask if I could sit outside. The hostess asked if I wanted bar or table. I didn’t have a preference but was told she’s only walk me there if I got a table. I’d never been here before and told her that I didn’t know where I’d be going. I settled on a table so I’d actually be shown where to go. Odd but brushed it off. Bartender was taking care of everyone outside it appeared, which it wasn’t a busy time but seemed as if she had a lot going on at once. I ordered the roll I decided on and asked for a suggestion for a second. I went with what the server recommended. Not sure if there was a miscommunication but I was only brought the one roll the server recommended, I didn’t feel like asking where the second roll was. It was good and I’d go back here for sushi. I’ll make sure my full order is understood in the future.“
