“The go to spot for bar food in town! My friends and I love going here. Cheap drinks and food. As mentioned, you can expect bar style food...but cooked to perfection. The fries are cut and made in house, making them the best fries in town. Staff is usually swapped but will always greet you with a smile. The food can take a bit longer when they're busy, definitely worth the wait if you've got the time to hang out!“

“Talk about a great time with amazing eats and even better hospitality. The gang at Bedford Falls are just stellar! Bar tender Roscoe is a top notch lad and the owner Brendan made us feel right at home. Can’t say enough about the food…just perfection. Try the Fried Chicken Sandwich! Hands down a place to visit if you are in town.“

“I started coming here when I was remodeling a house near by. I had the best fried pork chop I’ve ever had and we visited more often than not for lunch for the remainder of the project. Bar food has gone so down hill everywhere and every single time I go here it is just magical (bacon cheese fries with jalapeños tonight). We love seeing Amy but we had mike and Josie behind the bar tonight and we had such a stress relieving late night app, drink, and listened to some karaoke that had people dancing. My glass stayed full and we brought home amazing leftovers. I really think places like this need all the recognition. COME GET THE DANG PORK CHOP IT WILL BRING YOU BACK TO YOUR GRANDMOTHERS KITCHEN.“

“Cool place close to downtown. You order at the bar and you pick your food up and take it to your table. You also clean your dishes and toss your trash when done. If you want white linens and table service, this is not going to be your jam. We were there for lunch and there were only a few folks scattered around. Food was good! Burgers were delicious. Bartender was friendly, bathrooms were crazy but clean, outdoor seating was nice. We would go back.“

“What can I say? My friends and I love this place. We are here more often than we are anywhere else. The owner-employee's friendliness and the feel of the space are welcoming. It's a bar but with many 'homemade' reasons to visit. Let me start with the freshly squeezed citrus. Sorry, but my powers of observation are keen, and I do not see many other places doing what The Southern does. They squeeze both fresh grapefruit and fresh oranges continuously -- as in, it never stops. They take pride in serving their signature cocktail, A Freshy, made with vodka, fresh grapefruit, and a splash of cranberry. It's $7 during happy hour, and the grapefruit juice alone is worth that price. I seem to always gravitate to the carbs when I visit. Homemade potato skins and homemade, hand-battered GIANT onion rings. The skins start as baked potatoes that are lightly scooped and filled with plenty of cheese and bacon. I make a point of saying 'very lightly scooped' because these skins are meaty! There is quite a lot of potato left here before they add the cheese, so it's a meal I can barely finish -- four to a serving with green onions and heaps of sour cream for $10. The onion rings are finished with the tiniest bit of sea salt right when they come out of the fryer. They may just be the best original recipe onion rings I have tasted, and you get quite a pile for $8. The service is great, and there are always bartenders hustling drinks and hustling food to all the tables. They are the hardest group of owner-employees out there, and the way they care about what goes out to customers shows. Again, this is a bar. But it is also a gathering place for locals. I've never walked in and not known somebody already enjoying themselves. If you know, you know ;-)“

“When we got there, it took a while to be greeted and given menus. But after that service was fantastic. Kylie was our waitress and she was awesome! Food came quick while they were busy, and was great! They run some sort of special almost everyday, beer is cheap as well. Will definitely be back!“

“There are many rooftops bars in Charleston – unfortunately we’re not able to experience all of them, but we did this one and our server Dana made it five star quality such an enjoyable experience talking to her. She took such good care of us. - she knows about Customer Service and that can make a break a restaurant.“

“I love Art's - it may easily be one of the best burgers in South Carolina (just a plain cheeseburger, yes!), and the rest of the food should be tested very soon. Art's apparently serves mean chicken wings (happy hour on Wednesdays!). Service is great, atmosphere classic ...“

“This place is nearby and I haven't been as often as I should. It's under new ownership now and many changes have been made and it seems for the better. It was cleaner inside and out w/plenty of parking. A friend and went over the past weekend and I'll say we both enjoyed it very much. I had a Caesar salad w/chicken tenders and at every bite. They got the dressing just right, not drenched or dry. I got a cup of chili, another of She crab soup and a grilled cheese sandwich (it wasn't on the menu until, but they made it anyway. That kind of flexibility is appreciated.) to go. Every last bite and spoon were enjoyed. Our little chihuahua Buddy apparently gave them 5 stars because we discovered he'd jumped up on the table and scarfed what little was left of the chili and would've eaten the cup too if it wasn't styrofoam. It was a very enjoyable experience and my friend & I were both impressed over the last times we'd been there. I hope to go back soon and try out some of the other menu items. I'd did notice that they had almost a dozen different types of chicken wings. Our server wasn't absent, nor did he hover over us. He was informative and responsive and that was all appreciated. Give the new Blues a try, I think you'll enjoy it.“

“What's your fancy partner? Does your gut grumble for great grub or is your soul seeking sensational spirits? Maybe your mind needs moving music or perhaps your preference is to punish pals in pool. Well, Tracye's Too (Cedar Creek Tavern) conveniently located on Ashley River Road has all sorts of interesting such as adult beverages food, music, bar sports and TVs for nearly everyone to enjoy, a welcome diversion to all of life's idiosyncrasies. The day after Thxgiving I asked a buddy where to go in West Ashley to meet some friends considering I haven't lived in SC since 2000. Yes, the West Ashely has changed so much I barley recognize it anymore. He said, "check out Trayce's Too it's a great spot," so we decided to belly up for a lot of reminiscing. I can't really put the lack of atmosphere on the facilities as the patrons were of two age brackets above me and relatively subdued and to be frank, boring. That said everything I alluded to were surprisingly fulfilling. Walking in you see a peninsula bar dominate the landscape with a granite type top with a black underbelly and black faux leather chairs adoring their master. The walls and floors match with a paneled wood floor, simple yet affective. TVs are literally everywhere so if there's a sports game or match on, they have you covered. The place is clean and tables plentiful. To the right is a big game area with at least 4 billiards tables and I thought I saw a dart board but can't recollect. There is a small stage for live music near the door so you get the vibe right upon entering. Bar food can be challenging to say the least. With all sorts of options out there a menu has to be balanced; bar staples as well as experiments possessing a flair of creativity. I ordered the nachos and Santa Fe egg rolls to start. The nachos were on the money, crispy chips with loads of gooey cheese and toppings as needed. I recommend them to the weary traveler. The egg rolls were ok as they were something different to gnaw on while slamming down drinks for us big "kids". They were a lot more breading than I wanted but the seasoning was tex-mex but I did enjoy the filling. After that my buddy wanted to try some "sushi" and against my better judgement I acquiesced to his desires. I was anticipating gummy rice, crappy fish and a sloppily made effort. Now in full disclosure I was roughly 4 drinks in to the evening however it was extremely satisfying. We ordered the rainbow roll which is basically a California roll typically topped with tuna, salmon, shrimp, avocado and another fish; in this case smoked salmon. I found the rice to be well cooked, the roll was flavorful, the fish fresh and the presentation with sauces was commendable. I'm inclined to believe the rest of their menu is extremely well done, on par with the food I enjoyed. Our waitress was a real people person. Anyone that waits on me needs a quick wit as I'm a former comedian and I love to have fun. She took my barbs, threw verbal darts of her own, was timely in checking on and delivering beverages and she was the one who suggested our sushi. I observed the other staff and it would appear to me they have a great group of people working the floors. As for the music I enjoyed the band however as most can guess, it changes nightly. To my discredit I have no idea who was playing but it was a great distraction and they played the hell out of the oldies music. They tried their hardest to get the morgue up and moving so I give them full credit. Overall, I highly suggest checking out Trayce's Too as they have just about everything needed to provide an excellent experience. The staff is awesome, the food is worthy of "Diners, Drivins and Dives," the facilities are clean and safe while they have many bar distractions like pool. So, if you have a hankering for some great grub a few cocktails all at a good price I'm sure you'll be happy with checking this place out.“
