“Went in on Saturday and was immediately greeted by the wonderful bartender Brianna. I recognized her from a previous visit and same delightful attitude. I remembered her as well for the delicious Moscow Mule she had made. I’ve been here 4-5 times and each time has been worth the effort. Burgers are excellent. Chicken tenders are humongous and can’t eat all . Barbecue chicken nachos literally the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. They have karaoke and trivia nights. I highly recommend this establishment to visitors and locals you will not be disappointed.“

“If you're a Kansas City fan this is the place to go that people are nice and very welcoming. It was my first time there and people were sitting at the table saying hello to me as I walked by. I guess I did look like a new person. But it was wonderful. The bartender was great. Highly.“

“Didn't eat, so I can't really speak to the food quality. This is a classic neighborhood bar with a strong following among the retired and local community. Lots of regulars and folks who know each other from the bar. Laid back, mellow, not overpriced, friendly. Nice contrast to the touristy places.“

“This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. I have celiac disease so I have to watch what I eat. They have a really good gluten free burger and you can eat the fries! Not only that they listen to you and get your order just how you want it. Love this place and eat here every time I come down.“

“Did a random stop at this place for some coffee and to do some work. The bartender Chris was extremely nice and helpful. We ended up ordering breakfast and since the atmosphere was great we stayed and had lunch and a flight of beers. We loved how dog friendly they are. Great place and highly recommended.“

“I take my girlfriend to The GOAT, Murrells Inlet SC and have never had an experience at all like the lady who claims that there was fighting, and drugs. I believe she was mistakenly referring to The GOAT in Indianland SC, which not at all associated with The GOAT Murrells Inlet.. The Murrells Inlet GOAT is one of my favorite Bar and Grills in the entire Myrtle Beach area, and recommended it to anyone!“

“Very “Dive Bar” feel, which I absolutely love… but the wings, my goodness the WINGS!! Hands down the best in the Grand Strand. Get them crispy (and their ranch is amazing too). They’re extra sauces and they’ve got a bunch to choose from (I got Hot Old Bay). 1,000% recommend. They don’t do boneless wings but they’ll toss their chicken tenders in any of the sauces or dry rubs.“

“We were looking for some takeout close to the hotel and tried this. Pretty small place, Definitely seemed like more locals then tourists. Overall very good. Only negative was the time it took to get the order - they were pretty busy.... Burgers were huge and tasty. Buffalo chicken sandwich humongous as well - he said it was very good, his only wish was for a little more sauce as they seemed to rely on a dry-rub for most of the flavor. Flavor on the boneless wings also very good. I'd certainly go back again.“

“The lady was getting her hair done next door so I decided to burn the time at Sportsmans. Immediately was welcome even though I was a touch early and struck up conversations with regulars over the games that were on. Overall welcoming vibe and super down to earth. Thankful shout out to Dustin for the beer suggestions and helping me burn some time!“

“Just go!! First impression, we got there about 6 pm on a Sunday and there was maybe 2 other tables there and we thought of leaving because how empty it was. We went in and were kindly treated, and it smelled good! They have good sized portions, that were amazing! And the chips and salsa hit the spot!I got the Quessa- barria, definitely a must try, great flavor and tender meat.Husband got the quesadilla- fajita with steak, and it was juice and tender and the peppers had the best taste.Kids meals were good sized and very good too!I think it may have been the owner stopped by a few times to make sure it was to our liking, go give it a try!“

“Perfect family owned place. I have been here about a dozen times in the past year and never had anything but very impressive food. Definitely not what you expect for " bar food". Stop by and grab a cold beer and some great food. The gyro is my go to.“

“A biker bar that welcomes all. Had a few drinks and someone bought the whole bar a shot of fireball! The girls working behind the bar were badass and very quick to get me a refill. I recommend for anyone who likes cold beer and a down to earth vibe.“

“Visiting the area for my husband's annual golf trip. a fellow golfer recommended this place because it was near our Lodging and he thought it was pretty good. It was so close to where we were staying we could have walked. It wasn't very crowded so we had our pick of seats and we chose one overlooking the water although it wasn't that picturesque. It turns out that the boathouse waterway is also a brewery but they're renovating their brewery so their brews we're not on the menu but they still had a very good beer selection. I got the tropicalia creature comfort, and my husband got Jai Alai. (Not sure I spelled that right). Then we ordered the boathouse bog balls, which I highly recommend. There are six of them about the size of a hush puppy with some a ranch dip. If you order them ask for the specifics, but I know they contain rice, bacon, chicken and I'm not sure what else but they are good so I did not question that. Lol. They were delicious and could've served as my meal. My husband got the fish tacos and I got the Cobb salad which I couldn't finish, our server was very friendly and attentive and took great care of us. The atmosphere was friendly and we were very comfortable there.“

“The Boathouse is either calm & quiet or loud & a riot! Choose if you want a quiet lunch on the Intracoastal watching boats go by. Or choose a time when they have live music & cold beer to enjoy! It gets very crowded on Sunday afternoons & during the live music. So go early to get a table or chair! Their food is great for bar food & I love going right after church since it's across the street. Also the hotels next door are great convenience if you've had too much to drive. They get pretty booked up in the summer. The crowds are young to old, bikers to corvettes & families, singles & everyone else! You'll fit right in & dress is casual.“

“We didn't eat, just stopped in to check it out and have a few beers. Good service and felt safe. This place used to be a biker bar and a hangout for the Hell's Angels so we stopped going there when it was called the Wildhorse Saloon. The only thing that bothered us was that they didn't have draft beers, just bottles.“

“My husband & I went there for the first time to see Jimmy Mowery play & had a blast! It is an older kind of bar but it is a fun place. There's pool tables and dart boards to play around with. The bartenders are super friendly too. The food & service was on point. We will be back!“

“We stayed in Surfside for a mini vacation with our family, we were recommended Neil and Pam's for local food. We got just some quick corn dogs and pretzels with cheese, it was so good! Friendly place and amazing food! Check them out if you can!“
