“Marilyn's Kitchen was phenomenal. Our entire family was thrilled with every bite we took. it's really hard to make a family of 6 equally as satisfied and tonight it happened. The Fried chicken fish and shrimp were so good. but, let me tell.you about the collard greens and honey corn bread, OMG, TO DIE FOR.. I Cannot wait for them to return. thank you all. oh, did I tell you how friendly they were? and very sanitary. I've been to.numerous food trucks. I was very impressed.“

“Great food. Had the fried chicken lunch special with collards and yams, collards were as good as homemade and the yams were extra good plus the fried chicken was very good though a very small quantity.

“Had the food truck, at our neighborhood food truck night. I did the ribs with a side of corn and omg that mac & cheese was too delicious! My husband did the pork chops, greens beans with mac & cheese. He said it was slamming! We will definitely be eating with you guys again soon! Thank you for the delicious dinner!“

“LOVE Nigel’s food! Their fried green tomatoes are the best I have ever had. They are the standard that I compare all others to. I have never had anything that I didn’t love. However, this location leaves a lot to be desired. Part of it looks like they haven’t finished unpacking, like there’s no room for storage. Stuff in plastic bags (fall decor) in a bin by the door. The restrooms, I hate to say, were really filthy. Toilet paper rolls (used and new) rolling around on the floor. Again, stuff that really didn’t seem to have a home - needs better storage options. There were cobwebs, the padding on the seats were torn up, and it just looked like it needed a good mop and broom taken to it. All that being said, I would DEFINITELY order take out from here all day, any day!“

“This location has a limited menu and is basically turned into an Express Restaurant. Nigel's has full staff and menu now at their US Hwy 78/College Park Rd location, which is where Piggly-Wiggly is, with larger facility and parking lot.“

“I was craving turkey wings but didn’t feel like cooking, quick Google search led me here and I beyond happy I found them.

I’ve been here twice and both times the food has been delicious!!! The turkey wings were fall off the bone tender, the lima beans were good and the mac and cheese reminded me of my grandmas.

To get 3 sides and meat for $10.90 is unheard of these days but that is exactly what I paid.

“Not disappointed. The only bad thing is my wife's shrimp and grits was better than my fish and grits. I don't eat pork so finding food in the South is challenging. Mr Charles made it easy. I'll be back in the morning for shrimp and grits sir!“

Being from BR, we are excited to have this place. We already love both Nigel's locations. This was what I've been waiting for. He put his spin on NO favorites. The Signature Oysters were amazing! Boudin balls and crab dip were full of flavor. My husband loved the fried pork chops. Offer rice and gravy or mashed potatoes and gravy, please. The gumbo was flavorful and packed with chicken, shrimp, sausage, and crawfish- needed a little more liquid. Fried okra was fresh!
Get the Banana Bread Pudding! I don't even like bread pudding but this was out of this world! That caramel sauce was bomb! The beignets were delicious. Not authentic per se but fabulous all the same.
Nigel is a genius. I want that blackened catfish or shrimp ravioli next time.
Please add Crystal's or Louisiana hot sauce and some Tony's on the table. Even some sport peppers, if you want the trifecta of tabletop seasonings.“

Second the food was amazing I got twelve wings and they were some of the best I’ve had in Charleston. Jumbo (absolutely huge) cooked perfectly and beautifully sauced. “The seafood egg roll and crab cakes stuffed with shrimp was really good. Also had Mac n cheese and Lima beans. Huge portions so could not eat it all but I really wanted to. Their sweet tea was perfect for this GA girl. Definitely on my list for revisits.“
