“I had tried Ganbei for lunch, and it was so fresh, delicious and healthy I made dinner reservations for my husband's birthday. He loved it! Excellent wait staff and excellent food. Our server added a complimentary fried ice cream with a birthday candle. I highly recommend, and I am a KAREN when it comes to high recommendations.“

“Let's start with the prices... everything is extremely well-priced for the portions you receive. We had the vegetable noodle, eel roll, and tuna roll. At first, we were mistakenly given what looked like a California roll, and my husband is allergic to the crabstick used. I went back in and spoke to them, apologizing because they were busy. They had absolutely no problem fixing it, I only had to wait maybe five minutes.

The food is really tasty! It was so much better than we expected (we eat at a lot of places) considering our past experiences with Tokyo Grill. The workers are efficient and nice, helpful whenever you need it.

Service was perfect even though they were busy. They didn't skip a beat, and when we had an issue with the sushi, they didn't mind and corrected it. I can't thank them enough for that, we felt so bad!

The place is no real frills, it isn't fine dining atmosphere, but it is comfortable. It could get crowded if lots of people choose to eat in.

Overall, this has become our favorite place with one visit. The people, the value, the food, it's all great!

Vegetarian options: Rolls of sushi can be customized and there are dishes only containing veggies.

Dietary restrictions: Any customization (within reason) is accommodated.

Parking: This area gets busy and slammed during peak times. It's difficult to find a space at those times, but if you choose an earlier time, it's easier.

Kid-friendliness: Kids would be fine here in the atmosphere, and they do have a decent kids menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for a wheelchair, ramps in the concrete outside.“

“I tried this buffet today for lunch for the first time, as I am new to the area and have been checking out different places to eat, and I love buffets. The food was alright. There were some things that I enjoyed. I liked the different types of chicken, the steak, the crab ragoons, and the take out cups/plates. My recommendations are to make sure the food is fresh and tasty and to consider visiting other local Chinese buffets to see what the competition is like and make a plan to see how you can improve. I have been to other buffets, such as the eastern buffet, which is near by, and enjoyed the food there more because it seemed more fresh and there were more options. The price of this buffet was about $16-17 with a fountain drink, which is about the same as Eastern Buffet, but eastern had more options and the food was tastier and seemed more fresh. I know that restaurants are probably struggling due to the increase in food prices right now, but as a consumer, I am also searching for restaurants where I get the best bang for my buck due to increases in the price of food. The cashier was kind and I enjoyed my meal over all.“

“I give the portion a 5 and taste a 3, so we’ll call this one a 4 overall. Got the orange chicken for lunch. Wasn’t great and wasn’t terrible, but I’ve had better from the mall. The portion size may not look like a lot, but it was packed in there, probably enough for two meals. I’d be willing to go again and try something else on the menu.“

“Consistently the best chinese food in both Richland and Lexington county. Crab rangoons are the perfect balance of sweet and savory, sweet & sour chicken is the nugget size which is perfect for the kids, chicken & veggie dinner combo comes with all your favorite chinese vegetables (mini corn, water chestnuts too). Tried the chicken wings tonight, dont sleep on the braised! Absolutely worth it!

“We ordered take out tonight and let me just say it was delicious. The portions were large and cooked to perfection. The veggies were fresh and although some people do not like the veggies cut so large, I think they are perfect. Egg rolls were scrumptious and large . We had soup which was still piping hot when arriving home, house fried rice was perfection. Plenty of leftovers. Love, love, love .“

Very professional and courteous. The Seafood Bag was banging along with the Tea, Large Order of Fried okra, Large Order of Fried Hush puppies and the Large Order of Shrimp Fried Rice. You will not find another restaurant like this in a 60 mile radius PERIOD! I now will come once a week which is something I have never done in 47 years! “Called in a to-go order, and they said it would be 15 minutes . I got there in that time frame, and the food was ready. The fried rice was the best I've had in a while. I also got the fried calamari, which, in my opinion, was not so great. It was too greasy for me and did not like the texture of it. They do give you a lot, though. I would go back it's worth a try.“

“delicious food and they give a gargantuan amount of sauce which in my opinion is pretty awesome. the only reason this establishment is not getting five stars from me is because they put my noodies in a strange to go box. the first time i opened it i was baffled to find a large knotted cube in a small styrofoam container. still very delicious but makes it super messy in my fridge and counter and stovetop. best place in the area i would have to say after getting extreme food poisoning from all the other local spots.“
