“I worked for years on the KCK Taco Trail (google it) and thought I'd never find someplace as good until I stopped by the parking lot of the baseball and softball academy in Simpsonville, SC. One word review, LEGIT. I've had it four times now and everything I've eaten has been delicious. Pastor, asada, chorizo, pollo, it doesnt matter. The mild (green) is spicy and flavorful, the hot (red) will make you rethink your life choices but also has a robust smokey flavor. If you're in the area, it's a must have.“

“Wow! First visit and definitely not our last! We tried the best burger, Italian brat, grilled cheese, and the broccoli salad! This is the best burger we’ve ever had! Everything was fresh and fantastic! The owner, Mark, is incredibly friendly and hospitable. The outdoor, casual seating areas are comfortable for chilling out. Highly recommend!“

“We LOVE Automatic Taco! Always a favorite at The Commons, so we are so excited to have them in the Overbrook neighborhood as well, now! Great steak tacos, guacamole, and a friendly staff. Not to mention an awesome outdoor patio with lots of great seating. Highly recommend for lunch and dinner!“

“Wow, this place is great! So, it’s true they are cash-only, and prices are no longer listed, as the numbers pictured in the original sign have slowly faded away. For reference, though, I ordered 6 tacos and a big ol horchata for $24. They served it with some pieces of grilled onion, 2 different homemade salsas and 3 complimentary chunks of lime. Yum!!
I tried the asada, carnitas, and pastor (pictured). And omggg these small street tacos are full! The meats are generously portioned and then topped with fresh chopped onion and cilantro. The asada and pastor each had some lovely bits of char, but the juicy carnitas really shined!
Also, I’m under the impression that the hours they have listed are up-to-date after calling to confirm. There’s a review saying something about not being able to be seated after 9 that must have been about the restaurant in the neighboring storefront- because there is no seating here.
So, overall, I’m thrilled with this experience. Easily the best taco truck I’ve been to so far, and I really look forward to coming back again! (Thank you to the chef for allowing me to take this photo)“

“Today, we stopped in for the first time. The shop is adorable and smells AMAZING! Peggy is one of the nicest people on the planet! We had a cup of strawberry Dubai chocolate and it was better than I ever imagined! We took home dark chocolate toffee and dark chocolate sea salt caramels. My husband loved them! We will definitely be back to support this business and will be recommending it to everyone💜“
