“I had the salmon and rice, and husband had the fish and chips. Both were great with big portions. It took longer than I expected for the meal to come out but it was very hot, so I don't mind waiting for hot food. We will definitely be back. Annalise was a very attentive and helpful server.”

“My friends and I gathered here on a Tuesday night! The view was amazing and Tyson did a wonderful job considering he was bartending by himself. Though it was pretty busy, he was able to move and serve everyone in a timely and friendly manner. I do think the food service was a little slow. I’m not sure if they are bringing the food from the restaurant below but it would take a long time to the degree of did they forget our order. The hotel itself was busy due to hosting many basketball teams around the U.S. which is awesome to have! All in all we had a great time and can’t wait to go back!”

“We went to celebrate the anniversary of our first date. Our server Kim F. was an absolute pleasure. She was was a 10/10. She was amazing and very attentive and even brought us a little dessert to help us celebrate. I definitely recommend Brinkley’s…the food was amazing and the steak was so tender you didn’t even have to cut it with a knife. This is a great place to go to celebrate those special moments and make sure to ask for Kim F.”

“As I travel for work, I stay in the area frequently. This was my 3rd try to visit, as they have recently reduced their days open. Solo diner on an early Friday evening. I was seated at a patio hightop table immediately. The view of the river and sunset are spectacular! A fairly limited menu of mostly small plates. I had a glass of rosé and the Oysters Rockabilly. The oysters were small, but delicious. My server, Lauren was sweet and attentive. I would give all 5s if the oysters were more plump.”

“I Recently moved to North Augusta. A friend from Savannah called to tell me about McNeelys Place. What a treat my first visit was. Homemade Chicken Pie, collard greens, wonderful Mac and cheese and good cornbread. Even the tea was great. I felt like I had stepped back in time and was eating at my Mothers table. The dining rooms were attractive and spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. We met the cook who was delightful in addition to being talented. I brought home a box of delicious vegetables. Already planning my next visit.”

“There is nothing lacking here. They are on top of it man! This place has so many flavors and options. They even do a meet the Grinch event in the winter around Christmas. Family owned and operated and it shows. Don't think twice about stopping here. It is excellent!”

“Great Price 2 can eat with drinks for under $32 with $4 tip tossed in. Great Wait staff with only 1 exception. A taller, heavy set, black hair waitress. Angie is a great Mgr, and handles issues quickly. Lately, the food has been hit or miss. Too many times, the Country Fried steak has been burnt black in places and dried out. Great dinner rolls. Very good Peach Cobbler. Very Good Chicken wings, shrimp/fish pieces when the pans are refilled. Average Fried pork chops Meat buffet items seem to be getting slower to be refilled. Desserts: Cakes, puddings and a freezer full of Ice Cream cups. We eat there mybe about once a month now, where it use to be once a week.”

While I was there i paid attention to the staff and there is one female there that tends to go to the bathroom every 5 mins and she stay in there for 20 mins that's strange. Is she bathroom maintenance? She carries a small bag with her every trip to the bathroom and comes out so fast like a rocket. Other then that I love this place”

Usually when I come in here, I don’t get the service but I just found out one of the managers does not work here anymore so I suggest that everybody in North Augusta and surrounding areas come visit the subway five star service and the food is excellent”

Then there was karaoke. A whirlwind of belted lyrics, enthusiastic dance moves, and a supportive crowd that cheered as if I were headlining a rock concert. Did I sound good? It's hard to say. Did I *feel* like a legend? Absolutely.

Five stars. I would definitely come back, sing again, and even fight someone over the last Scotch egg.”

“So I have a mixed review, when it comes to the North Augusta, SC location: Staff are usually pretty friendly & helpful, but this location is batting about .500 when it comes to giving me exactly what order/request. Usually regularly screwing up a grilled chicken club without onions, add pickles & fry sauce. Doesn’t matter if I place the orders in person or through their app. I’ve received 1 order just a grilled chicken on bread, another just a grilled chicken & fry sauce, other times my add-ons left off completely. Foods great, but if you actually get what you ordered is always like playing the slot machines.”
