“My friends and I gathered here on a Tuesday night! The view was amazing and Tyson did a wonderful job considering he was bartending by himself. Though it was pretty busy, he was able to move and serve everyone in a timely and friendly manner. I do think the food service was a little slow. I’m not sure if they are bringing the food from the restaurant below but it would take a long time to the degree of did they forget our order. The hotel itself was busy due to hosting many basketball teams around the U.S. which is awesome to have! All in all we had a great time and can’t wait to go back!”

“I did have a couple things that I addressed with. I don’t know if it was ownership or just lead workers minor things one of which wasn’t necessarily company policy. They usually decline my request, but they chose the customer service. Customer is right idea and it probably cost them money, but I really appreciated that. They didn’t have to do what I was asking at all and I told them it’s no big deal. She said usually we don’t do this, but she went ahead and did it anyway. And I just really appreciated it. I repeated myself but it bears repeating. So I just wanted to give y’all a shout out say that I really enjoyed it. I had some not really complaints just issues and you handled it and I thank you. Wonderful experience. I highly recommend you check it out and I highly recommend you get the Fish Camp special.”

“I Recently moved to North Augusta. A friend from Savannah called to tell me about McNeelys Place. What a treat my first visit was. Homemade Chicken Pie, collard greens, wonderful Mac and cheese and good cornbread. Even the tea was great. I felt like I had stepped back in time and was eating at my Mothers table. The dining rooms were attractive and spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. We met the cook who was delightful in addition to being talented. I brought home a box of delicious vegetables. Already planning my next visit.”

“We absolutely adore Sno-Cap! My husband and I have been going there since we were children. The food is always incredible, waitresses are always kind, and it has the perfect vibes all around. It just feels like home!

Kid-friendliness: Extremely kid-friendly! They have delicious ice cream and classic floats for the kiddos. They also have a nice, comfortable outdoor seating area.”

“We go there about once a week. Their buffett is excellent, and everything is Homemade. They always have a good selection of meats, vegetables, fruits & desserts as well as a full salad bar. The extra special thing is "our waitress, Amy". She is friendly and attentive. As soon as she sees us walk in, she gets our drinks and silverware & gets our table ready. There are several waitresses that really bust their tails to take care of the customers even though it's a buffet. Great place.”

“Crystal made my bowl just like i love it, I can always taste the flavors. While I was there i paid attention to the staff and there is one female there that tends to go to the bathroom every 5 mins and she stay in there for 20 mins that's strange. Is she bathroom maintenance? She carries a small bag with her every trip to the bathroom and comes out so fast like a rocket. Other then that I love this place”

“Great people here! We got a flat on our boat trailer so we pulled off the highway and pulled into the parking lot of this place to change it. Staff came out almost immediately to ask if we needed any help and offered us water or whatever we needed. They even came back a second time to check on us! We really appreciated their kindness. After a recent visit I can say a lot has changed. The fried shrimp was the surprise standout dish we ordered. I'll probably try fried wings on my next trip. Orange chicken and Sesame chicken had good flavor but the chicken used was tough. Pork fried rice that came with each had no veggies besides onions and pork was tough, so average at best. Egg rolls were bland. They now accept credit but charge a fee for orders over $20.

The food is quite good, worth a try. Cash or check only - no credit cards accepted. The inside of the restaurant isn't in the best shape and the service is very similar to what I got when I was actually in China (which is to say not fantastic), but that makes this place all the more authentic to me. I suggest going once and getting it to go to compare to what you get elsewhere. China is another good Chinese option in the area.”

“Had a supreme pizza and coke. I am more of a thick and chewy crust person while my wife prefers thin. Tonight's pizza was excellent with the crust having a balance of the two extremes of which we both could, (and did), enjoy. Looking forward to the leftover slices tomorrow after church. We will definitely go back.”

“This place was so nice. It has more variety than other mexican restaurants, the prices were great and I loved the variety. You can't tell me you get tired of eating the same thing after a while ? It was my first time there and they were pretty busy but our waitress still checked in on us and made sure we still had drinks and asked if we wanted refills which was nice. It was really well decorated and had a small outdoor area that was even covered in shade for the sunshine.”

“I've eaten here for many years. I believe they now have new owners/cooks. For today's lunch I was specific on what I wanted and they delivered. The food was fresh and hot. I dined in and the staff was very polite. This place was already busy most of the time. If they continue the good work and learning their customers, they will need a bigger restaurant. Actually they need a bigger restaurant about twice the size right now. Also I reserve five stars for an exceptional experience, this experience was definitely a four and a half. Also if you've gone here before try different selections. Each cook has their own specialties and as I said I believe the cook has changed. Owner / cook if you're reading this please bring back water chestnuts!”

Had the spring rolls which while small are the crispiest, tastiest I've ever enjoyed, and the House Special Lo Mein which was also top quality, full of fresh meat, fish and veggie pieces, delicious. This is now our number one Chinese place especially since they deliver all the way to Aiken! Terrific for a cold night and Netflix.”
