Salt & Marrow Kitchen Reviews
After waiting almost an hour to be recognized by anyone, then being seated to take our orders just to receive half cooked lumpy grits with my shrimp , and to offer me some more or a side of greens .. the waitress never offered any refills on any of the drinks , this was my first & last time eating here
Service was great. My husband and I went for our 19th anniversary. The menu was much smaller than what is on their website. Sadly my drink wasn’t very good. My husband’s were fine. The salad had wilted lettuce pieces. The cheese board was lack luster. Blue cheese is a very acquired taste and there was a large amount of it. As well as pepper jack cheese. Forgive me but a $35 meat and cheese board shouldn’t have a $2 cheese on it. The broccoli and potatoes were over cooked....read full review

Salt & Marrow Kitchen is a warm and welcoming restaurant where the food is amazing and cooked to perfection. The grill master ensures steaks and kangaroo are done just right. Guests enjoyed a variety of dishes such as oyster appetizers, scallops with rice, crab cakes, jerk chicken with cabbage and mac n cheese, and the catch of the day. The ambience is beautiful and inviting, making for a memorable dinner. Chef Tony and Chef Taylor were incredible and provided great customer service. The food was phenomenal, with highlights like the NY strip steak, short ribs, lamb chops, mashed potatoes and collard greens, lobster mac and strawberry cheesecake. Some guests noted that the waitstaff's knowledge of the menu and service speed could improve, and that the menu was small. However, many guests found the food to be top-tier, with one of the best steaks they had in years, and plan to return. Salt & Marrow is truly an asset to the Crown Plaza organization in North Augusta.
