“We were looking for a place with an unpretentious menu which let the ingredients shine through. Chef Frank’s came in at an A+. Our salad, swordfish and crème brûlée were delicious. Customer service was warm, friendly, and professional. Friday and Saturday nights are always full, and the space is small so be aware of the noise level. Will definitely be back! Yes Chef!”

“Fish Camp on 11th Street is putting out some great seafood! We found it through a TikTok review of the Beaufort area, and it did not disappoint. This place is huge with plenty of seating, so we did not have a problem finding a comfortable table on the screened-in porch. First off, we tried a couple cocktails - the Crab Punch and the Pineapple Mojito (both were excellent - the Mojito was very good blend of ingredients). Our server, Vanda, was super helpful in making a recommendation of a starter that was not on the menu - it was a shrimp/clam fritter with an amazing butter/tequila/lime dipping sauce - out of this world! For our main courses, I got the Shrimp & Polenta (cajun smoked ham, peppers, cheddar cheese, fried green tomato) - I highly recommend this dish. The cajun sauce was killer mixed with the polenta (grits). My wife got the Daufuskie Island Crab Cake meal (blue crab cake, sharp cheddar cheese polenta, mustard cream sauce, broccolini) - this entree was equally tasty with layers of flavors. Did I mention that our server Vanda was amazing, smiley, quick, and excellent at providing stellar recommendations? That young lady deserves a raise! Try this place, y'all!”

“Pizza was super. We live close to the mountains of nc. His pizza was as good as sidestreet pizza(a favorite for folks from miles around) in tryon nc. The owner of establishment was very friendly and made a effort to make you feel at home. Ingredients were all fresh and large on the supreme we purchased. Well done old school pizzeria.”

“Great food we had the Dragon roll and the Paradise roll and the shrimp and veg tempura to start. Sushi was great tempura was perfectly done and flavored. We also ordered Beef yaki udon and seafood yaki udon again it was perfect. The server Hatti was very attentive as well and even offered us drinks to go when we paid. The only issue we had was the sake took a little while but our waters were kept full so we really didnt have any problem with it. All in all great experience and we will be back.”

“We had a family occasion to visit Madison's a few weeks ago with a party of six. We had reservations and the meal had been planned for a while. When the food arrived, we (most of us) were astonished at the small size of a combination platter. I personally had scallops and flounder. I had two TINY strips of flounder, not even the size of a frozen fish stick. What a disappointment. The scallops were also 'marble' size. The price of the meal, with an adult beverage, was over 70.00. The cost nowhere represented what the meal should have been. One of our couples asked if the combination platter was enough to split. The server's answer was "they could eat one of them by themselves." This should have been our warning. Very disappointed in the meal. I have had appetizers larger the two tiny slices of flounder. We return to Beaufort on occasions, as family lives there, but we will NOT return to Madison's.”

“This McDonald’s only saving grace is Lin! I went for a late night food run and I think I honestly waited about 15 minutes just to order and another 15 to actually get my food. The guy who took my order was sooo rude! I would say one thing and before I can even finish my sentence he would cut me off. Because of this I forgot to say one part of my order.

When I got to the window… the sweetest nicest girl, Lin, as soon as we drove up I mentioned that I needed to add something if that was okay with her if not then I’ll go around. She said it was fine and added it. The guy in the back taking orders looked me directly in the eyes and said “UGH DO NO TAKE ORDERS AT THE WINDOW, just finish hers and that’s it”
And I get it, I work in food service but if he had been patient when I was ordering I wouldn’t have had to order at the window. But anyways, Lin spoke to us with kindness and patience and was apologetic for the wait. She is the only reason for this higher rating. Because the guy in the back was just throwing our food in the bag and he forgot part of our order but since this location closes at 11pm I wouldn’t go back for the rest of my order

“The She-crab soup was terrific. The shrimp and grits were good, but not what I was expecting. The grits were prepared in little cakes the size of crab cakes, and the sausage was sliced kind of like pepperoni. It was good, just different. And a large enough portion that I couldn't finish it. My friend had crab cakes and was very happy with them.”

Michael, Travis, Megan and I believe Kristen . We’re all so amazing and friendly. We literally cancelled our reservations at another spot to come back for a second night. The food was so good and the oysters were fat and so fresh!! The drinks were absolutely perfect . The second night we came back they remembered our names and that it was my birthday!! That kind of service just doesn’t happen anymore and we were just so thankful. It truly felt like we were having dinner and drinks with family. We cannot wait to come back just to see y’all!
