“I'm speechless. This was my first meal there and will not be my last. The atmosphere was so relaxing and a great way to end a rough week and celebrate my birthday. There was no pre-bussing to rush you out like at chain steakhouses. The meal was served at our pace. Great attention to timing!! Very relaxing jazz played at the right volume.
We had the rib-eye which was perfectly medium rare. Shrimp and grits with local stone ground grits and heavy cream. The Cole slaw was the best ever!!
Fresh crème brûlée for dessert!

“A hidden gem! My husband and I are huge into places with history, so when I was told about mill pond I surprised him on a date night. My husband has lived in several countries and has tried tons of different steaks around the world, needless to say…he said the king filet wrapped in bacon was the best steak he has ever had!! My husband is very nit picky, so this is huge! My dish was amazing as well (one of their specials) and the peach cobbler reminded me of when I was a kid, eating one of my mom’s homemade cobblers. You will feel like you traveled back in time in so many ways! We will be coming back multiple times, already can’t wait.“

“Our server was excellent... our food was hot. Steak was a lil bland, but tender. Salmon was a lil over cooked, but decent. 1st table we were taken to, was dirty. We were left waiting while the hostess went to find someone to clean it. We sat at a different table. There was trash on the floor...“

“For a person who personally doesn't eat seafood, surprisingly their menu had a variety of non-seafood items, all of which tasted fantastic, were cooked perfectly, and had no cross-contamination, which I was expecting from a place that primarily serves seafood. The staff were very polite and family oriented; they made it feel like you were coming for a home-cooked meal, not eating out, very grandmotherly. The food is inexpensive, yet still tastes great. The facility definitely has earned and keeps its A raiting.“
