“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited Helen’s Hot Chicken in Rock Hill for the first time, and it was a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious and worth every minute of the wait. Everything is made to order, so it does take a while, but it comes out piping hot and fresh. We ordered Nashville hot chicken tenders, a leg quarter, chicken and waffles, and fries. The flavors were incredible, the spice was just right, and the portions were generous. The attention to detail and quality of the food truly stood out. We highly recommend checking out Helen’s Hot Chicken if you’re in the area. We will definitely be back for more!“

“Thyme
It's not the most prevalent spice in Latin cuisine. In fact, it's rare that you would even taste it. But thyme has been well incorporated into both the fried, and roasted chicken served at Pollos Camperos.
I've never heard of pollos camperos, until today. And since it was right next door to my hotel, I decided I would stop in and give it a try. I ordered 4 pieces of chicken. Two fried and two baked. And my two sides were coleslaw and beans.
I also ordered two empanadas, which only come in chicken flavor.
Both the roasted and fried chicken were delicious! But I think the roasted chicken was better than the fried. But not by much. Both were moist, juicy, and delicious. My personal opinion is that the thyme flavor just goes better with roasted chicken then it does with fried.
The beans were very basic. Not a lot of flavoring.
If they had added celery seed to the coleslaw, it would have tasted exactly like KFC.
The role was just basic. I thought it was going to be Hawaiian bread, but ........
And the empanadas were delicious! Maybe not the best i've ever had. But they were excellent!
Overall this meal was delicious. While being completely different than anything i've ever had before. Definitely worth a try. I would suggest that you don't go in expecting typical fried or roasted chicken.“

“Unlike Harriet Welsch I enjoyed my food and experience quite well. Now I did not catch the name of who took my order so for the sake of simplicity I will use the name Dwayne. Dwayne was a great server. Her service was certainly up to par. I love how she did everything in accordance with company and rules and policies. I understand you cant bend any rules for me as then you would have to bend the rules for everyone else. Dwayne was wonderful and polite in all aspects and I highly recommend her.
