“This local restaurant has the absolute best Shrimp and Grits on their Sunday menu. Their fried shrimp is the best I've ever had and their Beedos burger is amazing. With a great variety of sides and homemade desserts, you won't be disappointed with anything you order here. It's on the way to Hunting Island State Park. Doesn't look like much but it's the best restaurant in in my Beaufort by my far. Any of day is a good to day to eat at Beedos and their Sunday menu is extra special.“

“The Rhett House Inn is where we went for our honeymoon. It is the epitome of Southern charm and hospitality. The coastal setting, quaint rooms and spacious porches make you want to grab a coffee or glass of wine and spend hours relaxing on the porch. “We went here for my wife's birthday and could not have been happier with our experience. Great atmosphere and service, shout out to our server Melody. The food was superb. I had the chef's special, blackened trigger fish with rice pilaf and curry sauce, while my wife had the seafood risotto. Both were delicious. Don't forget dessert while you are there. The turtle cheesecake was fantastic.“

I recently tried their chicken salad sandwich and let me tell you - it was incredible. The perfect balance of creamy and crunchy, with just the right amount of seasoning. And don't even get me started on their clam chowder. It was out of this world. I couldn't believe how good it was. But the food isn't the only thing that makes Blackstone's Cafe stand out. The service is top-notch as well. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They truly went above and beyond to make sure my dining experience was enjoyable. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Beaufort. Whether I'm looking for a quick bite to eat or a cozy spot for a date night, Blackstone's Cafe always delivers. I highly recommend giving it a try - you won't be disappointed!“

“This pizza is great if they took into consideration the customers preferences. Their cheese is kind of gross, in my opinion, but with light cheese we absolutely love this pizza. We are also just not big cheese people so we just order less cheese. But anytime we ask for light cheese, they honestly seem to get angry and give us extra cheese (which wouldn't be as much of a problem if they had a better quality cheese). I mean, we aren't asking for a discount, we just want half the cheese. And the cheese is literally the most expensive part of a pizza usually. The cheese does not cook the same with too much, so trying to pick it off leaves us with half the toppings and undercooked pizza. And the cheese is honestly super low quality so it just ruins the whole pizza and makes it inedible. I don't understand why they won't just do light cheese, it saves them money and ensures a local will come back at least 1-2 times a week. But unfortunately, at this point, we will go elsewhere, because it is a waste of money when we can't eat it with all the disgusting cheese on it. When we hear that they get their customer service in order, we will try it again.“

“I’ve been having dinner here ever since I can remember. My youngest memory was probably around the age of 4. When I was growing up, there was nothing like a good fried chicken leg and a try-tater with ketchup from Maryland fried. I moved away and have lived several different places and never found anything even close to being as good as this place. Yesterday, right before the rain, my bestie and I decided to get a barrel of chicken and all the fixins for our families after having a nice day at the beach. When I tell you every bit of our dinner was amazing and the service was just as friendly as I always remembered. We are from Pa and we had the best cheesesteak since moving south. They were kind enough to honor our request to put marinara sauce on top, I guess its not a thing down here, but it's how we eat them in Pa. We will be back soon“

“We had a family occasion to visit Madison's a few weeks ago with a party of six. We had reservations and the meal had been planned for a while. When the food arrived, we (most of us) were astonished at the small size of a combination platter. I personally had scallops and flounder. I had two TINY strips of flounder, not even the size of a frozen fish stick. What a disappointment. The scallops were also 'marble' size. The price of the meal, with an adult beverage, was over 70.00. The cost nowhere represented what the meal should have been. One of our couples asked if the combination platter was enough to split. The server's answer was "they could eat one of them by themselves." This should have been our warning. Very disappointed in the meal. I have had appetizers larger the two tiny slices of flounder. We return to Beaufort on occasions, as family lives there, but we will NOT return to Madison's.“

“Very positive experience. We ate on the outside porch on Friday evening. It was a beautiful nighttime view of the water & park, yet we stayed warm because of the overhead heat lamps.
