“I have always enjoyed coming to Mon Amie and have highly recommended it to dozens of people. My early birthday breakfast with my cousin was nothing short of amazing until we were very rudely interrupted by the hostess. She proceeded to ask us about our meal as if she really cared, then very abruptly told us to basically leave because there was a party outside with a baby that needed to be seated because of the very cold weather. I love babies and while I hate to think of it being exposed to cold weather, that's not our problem. My cousin drove an hour to eat with me and we were treated as if their discomfort was our emergency and we needed to act accordingly. This was my cousin's very first experience in this restaurant and probably her last! Our dining experience matters just as much as the next person's, please do better! I want to stress the fact that we were not asked nicely, we were told. Demanded if you will! And yes we are black and they weren't! When I spotted the family with the baby I could see that they were sitting directly beside the heat lamp on the patio and they seem to be enjoying conversation amongst each other, so it was definitely the hostess that did everything besides basically push us out the door! Needless to say we moved on before we were ready to because we will not be where we aren't wanted!“

Not being a burger person, I opted for the chicken tenders this time. Not the best, but okay. My husband and his brother were with me and they are both burger eaters, so they were both quite satisfied. The sweet potato fries were excellent, as were the regular potato wedge fries. I highly recommend the fry sauce. There is an extensive bakery menu and excellent shakes. Restrooms were exceptionally clean.“

“You looking for a hole in the wall Mexican joint? You know the one that may look a bit rough but has the BEST FOOD? This is it! I live in NC and anytime I come to SC to see family eating here IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST!! It is my favorite joint and if they were in NC I would be a regular. You order from the window, can pay cash or card, pick your toppings from the topping bar and then find a seat in the cafeteria like setting. Nothing fancy but the food is the main attraction. The Mercado (grocery store) has regular hours but the restaurant portion is only open on weekends. I always get the Al Pastor Tortas but everything else is delicious too. Try it and I promise you won’t regret it.“

“My wife really loves poke Bros and my daughter does too, so they get me to go there a little more often than I normally would, but they do have decent food if you like sushi type salads and Asian food, which we really do. And they're always really nice and friendly. I suggest giving it a try at least once, although to be honest for the amount of food in the bowl I think the price is a little steep, but it's okay. “I just received my Gluten-free coconut cake to share with my family, it probably is the most delicious cake I've ever eaten, and, I use to have a cakery so that's a huge compliment from me. The coconut is mild and delightful and the buttercream matches it perfectly. I couldn't stop eating it even while it was still frozen solid. I highly recommend! I will be ordering more. thank you!“

“They have very good food. We usually get different appetizers and we typically get 2 meals put of it. Location is easy to get to. We're from woodruff so we hop on 26 and it's about 25 mins. Food is still hot and it's worth the time to get there. The people that work there are very nice“

“I've ordered takeout from this location a few times. The food is fantastic. The brisket and pulled pork are among some of the best I've ever had. Recently I ordered mac and cheese and banana pudding. It was close to closing one night and the mac and cheese was not good. Normally it is. I just learned not to order late as you get the remnants and it leaves a lot to be desired. I'm still giving five stars because the good experiences substantially outweigh the one bad one.“
