“This is a popular place! Has a VERY wide selection of beer! We were there with quite a large group during happy hour, so that has to be taken into account. The service was as good as it could be with just one server for the group. She tried very hard, but the entire restaurant was very busy during the happy hour timeframe. She did have help with drinks, but the food took a very long time, and sometimes so did the drinks. Perhaps the kitchen was overwhelmed as well. In any case, the food was delicious. As I said, the restaurant was busy and was quite loud. Hearing the music was next to impossible. We do want to try it again when not with a huge group and see how it is. I believe a group of 2-4, sitting in a booth, would fare very well!“

Luke, our server, was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond any expectation we could have dreamed of. I've never had someone who was so committed to making our experience truly special! You're one of a kind my guy! Kaden did an excellent job ensuring we were well taken care of! The manager, David I believe was his name, was attentive and checked in multiple times to ensure we were having a great time and enjoying our experience. The food and drinks were excellent! “One of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The atmosphere is wonderful. We started with an appetizer of the thick cut bacon which was to die for. Followed up by the New York Strip which was cooked to perfection, and possibly the most flavorful steak I’d ever eaten. We usually do not get desert, but everything so far was so delicious that we could not pass it up. We tried the white chocolate banana cream pie and the butter cake, and an espresso martini. OMG is all I can think to say. Stefan was our waiter, and he was amazing with his detailed descriptions and recommendations. We will definitely be back, and will hopefully be waited on by Stefan again.“

“I had the most delicious fish sandwish at M&J Restaurant today for lunch. The server was attentive and prompt with drinks, and the food was piping hot when brought to the table. We all enjoyed the restaurant very much and we will go there again as our son lives in Lyman and it is close to his house. They have lots of TVs so I bet for fotball games the place really fills up.“

“Valentines Day and we ordered the advertised meal for 2......food was good but that's it. First the waitress was scarcely ever there, supposed to be a easy 4 step meal right......nope! Meal was so out of order! Salad didn't show till after the entrée and my husband's plate had 2 potatoes (one was supposed to be mine) on his plate and mine had nothing but a piece of fish. How does something SO easy get so screwed up?! Oh, and the waitress said the manager was coming to speak to us and that never happened ......Then gave us an Aarp discount!!! Seriously?! Not even there yet!! So let's just add insult to injury.....needless to say after all these years, we won't be back!!“
