“I was just passing through after a weekend visit with family, hoping to grab some breakfast. While I didn’t find breakfast, I stumbled upon the next best thing — and honestly, it might’ve been even better.

The meat-and-three selection here is huge, and everything looked amazing. I ended up with the oxtails, and they were falling-off-the-bone tender. For sides, I went with mac and cheese, beans with pickled okra, greens, and rice — and every single bite was packed with flavor. You can taste the love in the cooking.

The women running the place were as sweet as their iced tea — warm, welcoming, and full of that Southern hospitality that makes you feel right at home.

“We hit a backup on 95 and decided to find a place to eat in Santee. We're grateful for the backup, because otherwise we'd have never found Santee Seafood Bistro! The food was great and the people were even nicer. Portions were very generous and reasonably priced. You can't go wrong stopping here.“

“My husband and I ate here for dinner on 6/17 and had a delicious meal. For an appetizer we loved the crawfish tails. They were tender and had a nice crunch to them. The prime rib was out of this world..medium rare.. juicy and tender.My husband had the Sea Scallops and he like them with the Cole slaw. And best of all our server, Sadie. Never heard of it (it's a chain, I eventually learned.), but I swear the mascot was a cartoon character wearing old fashioned helmet, no?
