“First time checking out the spot. Whenever I travel I always try to find a local spot to patronize. Emeri's Eatery was a pleasant surprise. The young lady gave me the recommendation of the pot roast, collard greens and rice...and she wasn't wrong. I was just coming for lima beans but I'm glad I took her advice. The meat is flavorful and tender. The greens are slapping (the words of young folk). I had more meat than lima beans so that was hard to judge but EVERYTHING is tasty. For dessert she recommended red velvet however I'm not a fan so the other young lady suggested pound cake and that's what I got. Each meal comes with your entree and 3 sides. That is the winner for me along with a piece of sweet cornbread. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Between the customer service, family feel and tasty food. They get two thumbs up from me.“

“We spent a week at Wyndham Lake Marion in Santee, SC. After passing M&M Country Eatery a time or two, we noticed the Open sign was on and decided to give it a try. EXCELLENT! Everything was legit authentic soul food. Very good! The man running things was very polite and cordial, too. Cash Only“

“I stayed one night. It was late, and I had limited time to rest. The room was great! Some of the furniture was positioned off of the wall. I presumed that someone had painted recently. No smells, so it didn't prevent me sleeping!

The staff was very friendly. If I had more time, I would have walked their parking and building. It looked like it would have safe.“
