“I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it was the best I've had since I've been here. The lemon pepper wings on the other hand fell a bit short but I think it's about my personal taste. They were quick and the food was hot.“

“I've eaten here for many years. I believe they now have new owners/cooks. For today's lunch I was specific on what I wanted and they delivered. The food was fresh and hot. I dined in and the staff was very polite. This place was already busy most of the time. If they continue the good work and learning their customers, they will need a bigger restaurant. Actually they need a bigger restaurant about twice the size right now. Also I reserve five stars for an exceptional experience, this experience was definitely a four and a half. Also if you've gone here before try different selections. Each cook has their own specialties and as I said I believe the cook has changed. “Golden China has become a weekly treat for us. I love the hot and sour soup! It’s so good! My husband loves the sesame chicken, and I like trying different entrees that have vegetables in them. All I have tried have been excellent! The egg rolls are crispy! I can’t go back to soggy egg rolls after Golden China’s crispy ones. The combination plate gives us two meals each(leftovers), with the entree, fried rice, and a crispy egg roll for one price. I highly recommend!“

Only negative.. the restroom has had an out of order sign for 4 months and we see employees go in and out using a key. “This place was a very welcome surprise to me. I moved to South Carolina in this area just under 3 years ago. I love Asian buffets in general, but hadn't found any worth talking about. I stopped in here on a whim because I was shopping somewhere close, and was delighted at the food quality. But then I found out that my meal also included getting some steak. I figured at this price it probably wasn't very good. Boy was I wrong. Some of the items understandably get a little dried out waiting for someone to pick it but for the most part everything is fresh and quite delicious. I have been there twice now. And definitely plan on going back. The restaurant itself is big but also is clean. This is a well-managed restaurant.“
