It definitely is not the worst restaurant in town (the Chute Rooster is more likely a contender for this award). However, it certainly falls flat of expectations. Despite dining on a slow Sunday night, food was consistently delivered near cold, items missing, and was overall subpar for the price. If you find yourself in need of dining service with little else open, it’ll do. My daughter has Celiac and the 1885 Steakhouse has several options that she can eat. All the entrees we've had there have been excellent and the portions are generous. Definitely a must stop place whenever we're in the Hills.

I was happy they could accommodate my gluten allergy. I enjoyed the gluten free ribs and a baked potato.The bathroom was clean, and the server was very nice and helpful and efficient.My friend liked her Elk Bison burger.
