“My daughter and I absolutely love tropical smoothie cafe and we don’t have one where we live so we were super excited to see rapid city had one upon our first visit I asked a stupid question and the gal laughed with me and the next morning she remembered us and my order! “I never really eat at Arby's, but found this to be convenient on the way to our destination. The staff at the Rapid City location was amazing. They were very friendly, made eye contact and made you feel like an actual customer. The food is what you expect it to be, the staff at this location is what makes them different.“

“Well, we were going to stop here, after seeing a movie up the hill only to learn that at 9:40pm, they had turned off the grills. Given they're open til 11pm, if they can't be bothered making food with over an hour to go in their regular shift, maybe cut back their salary by 5 dollars a person since they don't wanna be bothered cooking like other fast-food establishments.“

“I went to the drive up window to get a couple of regular tacos. I was very surprised at how full the tacos were. There was plenty of meat lettuce and cheese. The service was good I didn't have to wait long. The young man at the window was engaging and my order was ready with in minutes of pulling up.to retrieve my order. I haven't been the the W. Main location before but I am sure if I get hungry for tacos again and I am in the area that is where I will go.“

“It’s a good McDonald’s, with good, fast service and kind people. They rarely get orders wrong and get them out quickly. The drive thru is fast even when they’re busy. Inside the pace is slower but that’s to be expected if you’re dining in.“

“This Arby’s is very clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was perfectly served.
I feel like I don’t always receive piping hot curly fries from Arby’s, but these were fresh from the fryer and perfectly done. The roast beef sandwich was perfect, but their chicken tenders were a bit dry and firm. I normally don’t add chicken to my Arby’s order, but I added it for some more protein after a long weekend of hiking. The food I did come here for was perfectly served and delicious.“

“First time visiting. It was a long wait to order, but we were there at lunchtime; there were enough people working, but not everyone appeared confident in their work. The meatballs were mediocre, the green goddess salad was fabulous. Get your brownie warmed, it's much better that way! Atmosphere gets 3 stars because the place needed to be cleaned and wiped.“

“I have to say this was probably the first time I've ever had a "bad" order from Culvers. Even with a "bad" experience it was still an awesome and delicious burger and fries. I absolutely love Culvers and eat there almost every week if the place we are working has one close. The only issue I had this time was the meat was kinda dry and over cooked but it was still great and I ate every single morsel of food I got. I can honestly say I have never had a order I didn't like from Culvers, you guys always have great food and great respectful employees.“

“Love Q. My only concern is the chips have changed over the last couple of years. Even asked an employee and she didn't agree. They use to be light, crispy with a hint of lime . They have a few of those mixed in, but for the most part they are the opposite, thick and pretty much tasteless. They had the good ones for Cinco de Mayo! They were soo good!“

“From out of town. Craving a taco and saw Taco John's. Pleasantly surprised at price, $5 for 2 chicken tacos. Food was yummy, service was excellent, and dining area needed swept but otherwise is clean and kept up. Worth every penny! Give it a try I'm sure you'll be as pleased as I was eating here.“

“I ordered online, so the atmosphere didn't really count for anything. Grew up in Philly, and their cheesesteak sub is excellent! My order wasn't completed, and if I hadn't looked in the bag b4 I left, I would've had to return. Got what was missing (no apology) and left. My advice is to always check your order! “I wish I could give more stars for the service, 5 stars doesn’t seem to cut it. We come here every rally season and the nice older lady behind the counter is the star of the show. She has such great personality and attention to detail we’ve never had a mess up on an order and everything has always been top notch. This is one of the best fast food restaurants we have ever visited and its consistency is fantastic.“

“It took more than 5 minutes for the person on the speaker box to get back to us. When ordering, I said 1 Mt dew and 1 Mt dew zero, and the person on the box said, "Do you want to make it two Mt dew zero, and the answer was yes. We got 1 Mt dew and 1 Mt dew zero.“

“Enjoyed a taco for lunch. There was plenty of meat and all the toppings I desired. This made for an excellent meal. The only drawback I have about qdoba is that sound carries and echoes in their restaurants. It can get very noisy at lunchtime.“

My partner and I ventured to the Taco Bell on Cathedral Drive for lunch after work. The interior was clean and updated, gleaming under fluorescent lights that seemed just a little too bright--bright enough, perhaps, to illuminate secrets best left in shadow. Outside, a RCPD vehicle circled the building like a hawk eyeing its prey. A coincidence? An officer on lunch break? Or something more profound? This marked my second unsettlingly close encounter with RCPD that day. I took note, as one should.

We decided to split the Crispy Chicken Nuggets Deluxe Meal, a feast of decadence and excess: five crispy chicken nuggets with a choice of sauce, a crunchy taco, a Chalupa Supreme, seasoned fries, nacho cheese sauce, and a medium fountain drink. For the uninitiated, this is not just a meal but a ritual, a series of textures and flavors designed to challenge and satiate.

I requested a Doritos Locos Crunchy Taco instead of the standard offering, a harmless substitution--or so I thought.

As I placed the order, an employee who wasn't handling the register approached. He was an enigma of a man, his two-day stubble an ode to disarray, his eyes brimming with a wild, untamed knowledge. His voice boomed across the counter, echoing like a prophet issuing a decree: "We only have the Signature Bell Sauce."

It wasn't a request, nor an apology--it was a warning. I nodded, attempting to convey my acceptance. The Bell Sauce would suffice. But the man was unmoved. He repeated his proclamation, louder, as if the air itself had resisted carrying his words. Was he hard of hearing? Or was he trying to ensure that I truly understood?

Perhaps he knew something I did not. What could lie behind this strange absence of sauces? A supply chain issue? A disruption in the fabric of reality? Or was the Bell Sauce itself the only thing standing between us and an unspeakable doom?

I confirmed, out loud this time, that the Bell Sauce was fine. His reaction was... strange. His stance shifted as if bracing against an unseen force, his voice rising once more: "We only have Bell Sauce. Is that okay?"

I cannot stop wondering if I failed to decode the deeper meaning in his words, a message veiled in corporate jargon. Was I meant to heed his warning, to flee the premises while I still could?

We placed the order anyway. I chose a Diet Mountain Dew as my drink, a decision made not out of desire but necessity. As a Diet Coke and Coke Zero loyalist, this was no small compromise, but it had nothing to do with the establishment. It was a personal cross to bear.

When the food arrived, we discovered the Signature Bell Sauce was missing entirely. We had to request it, a minor inconvenience--but also an omen. Could it be that the sauce wasn't merely missing but intentionally withheld, a test of some kind? Or was it, perhaps, never meant to be delivered at all?

The meal itself was as expected: warm, flavorful, and acceptable in every way. The seasoned fries were crisp, the nuggets delightfully fried, and the Doritos Locos Crunchy Taco as vibrant as ever. Still, I left the Cathedral Drive Taco Bell with a lingering sense of unease, as though I had witnessed something I wasn't meant to see, felt the brush of something cosmic and unknowable.

Would I return? Certainly. But I will tread carefully, for the mysteries of the Bell Sauce and the ever-watchful gaze of the RCPD remain unsolved.“

“The restaurant was AWESOME! I really liked the tacos there. They tasted liminal. The liminal atmosphere was also good! Going there feels like I went into a JRPG Taco Bell.

“I have always been happy with the food from A&W Restaurant. I was not impressed with the loud noises made by the crew on a recent Sunday. It was a very young crew and they had loud music playing, and loud voices and some sort of banging noise was heard which was very loud and noisy. I had to ask them to wipe down the table I wanted to use. I was the only customer at the time.“
