“The food was wonderful and there were so many options! Buffett is currently closed due to pandemic but they have a very large menu of options - Indian to Central Asian with some Nepalese specialties - as well as mixed platters to make it possible to try a variety of things. The menu descriptions are fairly detailed and the spiciness level is a question asked for most items mild, medium, spicy). prices run from 8-12 for appetizers and 12-20 for meals and mixed platters which seems quite reasonable for the serving size and skill in preparation. It would be a wonderful place for families, romantic dinners out, or a good place to meet an old friend and talk over 2 or 3 courses. Inside was very comfortable, good spacing and light, not too loud, with many beautiful decorations and carved accents. The owners and staff were wonderful - friendly, accurate, quick to help and quite fast food preparation. I would absolutely come back!“

“Great spot for casual food and drinks in downtown Rapid City. Huge list of local and craft beers on draft, even a seasonal N/A kombucha on draft. Lots of great N/A beer options in a can/bottle as well. Decent selection of wine as well.

We had flat bread pizzas and they were great. One of these would certainly feed two people. We each got our own and had leftovers for lunch the next day!

“Space is extremely inviting. Lotta good COMFORTABLE seating for groups of 6. Bar is a Shepard hook and looks fantastic. Pool table. Good variety of beer and custom sodas. Crafty or sober, it's a good stop for the vibe. Don't pass it up!“

“Service was great from the hostess to servers. The two others with me had steaks, good flavor but prefer a thicker cut instead of thin cut that looks bigger. Had the salmon and it was very good. One had the brussel sprouts that had maybe 3 slices and the rest was burnt, loose leaves. Manager blamed it on the supplier, if that is the issue then remove it from menu, there were at least two other items not available.“

And add to that how commited they are to local and sustainable ingredients. Got my business forever!“

“Everytime I've came to this place I have a great experience. Today was my birthday and even though I did not ride the saddle. The waitress made it a great day with her bright service and the birthday ice cream. Food was cooked perfectly even I got to full to finish and not once felt judge for dinning by myself. Thank you!“

“This restaurant is a solid 5-star with Incredible food and attentive staff. It is a a local favorite but this traveler will return! Legit hand breaded chicken fried steak and real mashed potatoes were perfectly prepared. No prebreaded steak or boxed mix used in our meal. Complimentary bread before the meal from their in house bakery was tender and tasty as was their coconut cream pie with authentic flaky, home style crust with fresh whipped cream topping and rich filling. This will not disappoint!“

“I've been coming here regularly since I decided to stop in for beer one night. The bar tenders are some of the best bartenders I've ever had the honor of being served by. Lizzie and Shelby alway have a smile know how to cheer you up and make amazing drinks. Not to mention there some of the prettiest bartenders around at least in my eyes. its true what the say the name doesn't make the bar the bartenders make the bar. Stop in for a drink and a smile.“

“This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Rapid when we can afford it. I really like the fried rice during hibachi, so I always get double so I have extra to take home. I've brought my 1 year old a couple times and she loves the onion fire volcano trick. The food is delicious, and the show is fun too.“

“We brought our whole Boxing team from Nebraska to eat here on Saturday night and the staff from the cook to our server was TOP NOTCH! The cook even made a special bowl with all of his favorite sauces for one of our fighters. Our server engaged with us and made sure we had what we needed at all times! “Our dinner service was excellent even though the store was extremely short staffed. Our waiter ran himself ragged trying to keep multiple sections on par. Given the circumstances, I believe he did an excellent job. It was why I left a more than generous tip. It was well deserved and something I don't really do very often. But he did a great job. “Perkins resembles a food experience that is no longer as in fashion as it once was. Similar to Denny's and Shoney's the decor, cleaning and layout of the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. The carpet was so filthy our shoes were sticking to it. Normally, I wouldn't have eaten here but we were tired after a long day on the road, and it was attached to our hotel. Our waitress was fantastic! She was attentive and so fun to talk to despite being busy. The food choices were basic but surprisingly well cooked and delicious. And I have to say, quite clean. It wasn't greasy or disgusting. The manager was kind and professional while very outgoing despite long hours. It surprises me to say; I would consider eating here again. WOW!“
