“I came in on a one hour lunch break from work on a week day. I had 4 tacos, all different meats and a side of onions and Chile torriado. They were all delicious but the pastorpork, asada beef, and birria beef stood out as exceptionally delicious.

Many tacos joints will sell ya two white, flaking tortillas with less meat than tortilla -- not this place! It was a single crisp, yellow, corn tortilla. This is how tacos should be. The staff was friendly. I was attended by whom I thought to be the owner and his son. Lovely folk and I let them their food quality was superb.

Best way to test Mexican cuisine is by having their tacos, my pops always says. This place passed. Best tacos in Siouxfalls.

“We flew into Sioux Falls from Phoenix to visit family in MN. We stopped at Qdoba and my daughter left her stuffed animal in the restaurant. We were already in MN by the time we figured it out. I called the store and they were so reassuring about hanging on to the stuffed animal until we were able to get it. The food is great and all but this experience was truly one of a kind. Happy to say we have the stuffed animal now!“

Service is always friendly, food is always quick, piping hot (or ice cold in the case of their delicious ceviche) and a generous portion for the STILL affordable prices in 2024. Perfect spot for a lunch for 2 with drinks under 30 dollars including tip. Everywhere else should take notes!“

“The food and service were good. Beef, Chicken and veggie enchiladas excellent. All dinners come with corn chips as a side. To elevate they need a couple options here. I gave them a low score on atmosphere because the bathroom situation is atrocious. RR located in the basement which although screened is dirty and unkempt. The RR is in dire need of a complete overhaul. Floor tiles broken, smells bad and all fixtures need to be replaced. Enchiladas excellence helps overcome this but it must be addressed.“

I’m sure it was innocent and all in fun and games however, what they didn’t know is that I speak Spanish. I did make sure they knew I spoke Spanish and even said, “excuse me, what did you say?” In Spanish. They sure looked like deer caught in headlights. “We love this Chipotle! It is always clean, the service is fast and friendly and food is always fresh. It’s never too busy, they play soft background music in Latin language and the room temperature is very comfortable, not too cold to the contrary to some other places. This makes me want to stay in and eat food inside to enjoy the atmosphere instead of rushing out. One of the most important aspects of this particular location is the large parking space that is easily accessible if you are pulling a trailer behind your vehicle. We are pulling a 14 foot trailer behind and chose this location over other options specifically for the parking lot.“

They were quick and efficient at the drive thru after helping us make great decisions on our meal.1. Taco John's speed of service from taking the order to us driving away with our food was great and far exceeded any trip we've made to Taco Bell.2. We got to talk to excellent customer service people. My last trip to Taco Bell, there was no longer any human cashier nor anyone to help use the robot self-order menu. I got so frustrated I walked out and haven't been back.3. The food we received was hot and fresh with warm soft tortillas and fresh ingredients. There was so much tender chicken and nacho cheese on my grilled chicken burrito that I was biting into heaven! And it was filled from end to end so that every bite had wonderful flavor, not like the food at Taco Bell with stale totillas and nothing but dry and tasteless ends with all the meager portions of food just in the center of the burritos. My wife's triple chicken street taco were double the size she expected and the fresh ingredients made the flavors great! The large Pepsi was a 42oz cup and tasted great compared to Taco Bell large 32oz cup and the flavor has been off, probably poor brix settings. We got more great soda which cost less than TB. We added a side of nacho cheese for the hash brown taters and the cup and portion size was almost double what you get from TB.4. We received everything exactly as we ordered which Taco Bell has decided to screw up every order always missing food and what is made is not how food is ordered. Even when you go back and ask for the items that are missing and re-emphasize how those items were ordered, they still make those remakes wrong.5. We spent less money here at Taco John's in Sioux Falls SD, and were happily filled, where at Taco Bell we would have had to spend at least $10 more and get smaller portions, unfilled bags of chips, and always a screwed up order from the Sioux Falls SD Taco Bell on Louise Ave.We made the decision on the last screwed up order at TB, to stop ever going again, which had been 2 to 3 times a week with orders in excess of $75, and to find a replacement.This was a no brainer and I couldn't wait to write a review about this.Taco John's in Sioux Falls South Louise Ave, you all shine and stand miles above that other place. “Thank you! I placed a big breakfast burrito order this morning. The staff was amazing they had the order ready when I showed up along with getting all their other orders out. Very friendly they marked all the burritos for me made it easy to pass out. Theyade sure we had enough sauces as well. Thank you again.“

We got the six pack and a pound which we used to purchase for under 10 dollars. It is a titch more expensive now but I don't care. “We went to this location for my daughters desire for the fries. (Why don't all of the locations have the fries? 🤷‍♀️)
The food came out fresh/hot. Sometimes you can tell that the tacos are literally thrown together - but all of our food was looking nice as we opened it.
We used the kiosk so didn't really deal with anyone directly. I like using it since I like to peruse the menu and make sure I'm getting everything I want. I don't want to hold anyone up if they're at the counter.
As far as atmosphere, this is a fast food joint, and a somewhat open concept, so the conversation in the back amongst employees should be kept relatively work friendly. Sound travels, friends. 😉

“When you find a Taco Bell that can create and produce the menu as it was designed per corporate regulations and design, then, you find a restaurant that has truly addicting burritos and tacos that are simple but great to eat. TacoBell on w 12th has some of the best food, but the service is slow, and they frequently error on orders, but what can an employee at this Taco Bell do to make perfect food orders and provide the best service when they are always understaffed, and will always be one of the busiest Taco Bell stores in the nation...the drive thru line is always out to the street, and the online orders continue to compete for the time and efficiency of the staffs skills and experience. Every team member at this Taco Bell are great at what they do. The only downside from my own personal experience, the General Manager needs a complete attitude makeover And possibly an education in etiquette or even a degree in higher education period, he is base and rude, from my own personal experience...its why i quit. Other than that, i love the Taco Bell food, And i love and miss the rest of the team members that work hard and luv their job in the year 2025.
