“Wonderful homestyle eatery. The atmosphere was awesome, I really liked the memorabilia that they have.The service was excellent, the servers were very friendly and attentive, even though they were very busy. The food was great, I love meat and three, the portions were right for the price.They also have a giant burger, that if you can finish it you get put on the wall of fame.“

“We enjoyed lunch today and it was delicious! I had a piled high bbq sandwich and hubby had a delicious burger. The fries were cooked perfectly, browned just right! The atmosphere and decor is fabulous! From the outside you have no idea how pretty and cozy it is. The highlight was meeting Kurt and Victoria, the sweet and young owners. They are doing a fantastic job! Give them a try!“

Highly recommend the Rose Water cocktail, grit puppies, honey mustard (not your usual honey mustard and so yummy), sweet potatoes, steak and mushroom wrap, Cobb salad, and probably so much more! “I had beef wanting to try the BBQ at HWY 70 BBQ for a while and I’m so glad I finally got to try it. I got the Loaded BBQ Potato with their delicious sweet BBQ sauce. They gave me enough food for 2 or more to eat and it was so delicious. The meat is tender & juicy so well cooked. The potato was huge and had all the fixings, butter, sour cream, shredded cheese & bacon topped with a huge amount of the pork meat. I am a sauce girl so I ordered extra sauce & I’m so glad I did because I had enough food left over for lunch the next day so the extra sauce came in handy. I will definitely be going back for more & try some other things on their menu. If you are looking for some great Southern comfort food then this is the place for you. 5 stars for them just doesn’t seem enough, it’s just mouthwatering good, good, good!!“

“I’m not a big chicken salad fan, well, I wasn’t. Then family took me to this place and everything changed. The Jalapeño Salad is the bomb and that Poblano soup is ridiculously delicious. One of my favorites now that I live closer. I’ve got now tried several salads and not a bad one yet.“

“I was very impressed with my first visit to the O'Charleys in Cookeville. The restaurant was very clean with a very comfortable ambiance. The food was delicious and came out very fast. Both my sister and I ordered fish/shellfish dishes and they were cooked to perfection! The highlight was our server Sam. She was attentive, friendly, and responsive to our requests. “We ate breakfast at the Cracker Barrel in Cookeville, TN. The food, and Ruby, our waitress, were excellent. Ruby was so nice, attentive to customer needs, and professional. However, the new menus were confusing. There were no pancakes or French toast listed anywhere on the menu. There were only combinations with meat and eggs. Ruby said I would be able to order blueberry pancakes. But then, of course, I didn’t know the price of any of these items before ordering. In addition, with all the combinations and “build your own” options on the menu, and the newer “up charge” sides, it was not clear on the menu which sides were up charges. I would suggest figuring out your pricing of sides so they are all the same. In summary, the food and service is consistently very good at Cracker Barrel restaurants.“
