“When my wife and I were considering a move to the Crossville area a little over a year ago, we stumbled on the Grinder House for breakfast. Quite frankly, the atmosphere, hospitality, waitstaff, owners and food were one of the many things we found attractive in the area.Since then, we have become regulars at the Grinder House. The food is always top-notch, the waitstaff are incredibly personable and engaging, and Asa and Angela go above and beyond in making each visit exceptional. The thing we love about Grinder House is the weekly concerts by some of the best musicians in the area. We love the entertainment and the dinners, especially the "surprise" specials designed bye Asa and company.Kudos for making the Grinder House a little slice of heaven.“

“We stopped in for lunch while traveling thru on I40. Having gotten gas at Bucees we did not want to deal with the lines and rude drivers so we checked out The Flying Pig. What a great lunch!!! We ordered the pulled pork sandwich plates, one with mac&cheese and baked beans the other with coleslaw and potatoe salad. The sandwiches were huge soft rolls stuffed with succulent tender, smoky pork. We tried the sweet and hot sauces and mixed them to our tastes. YUM!!!! The salads were both tasty, the beans sweet and savory and the mac& cheese just good enough. The large portions left enough for an on the road snack. Thank you ladies for a wonderful experience and way better food than across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible“

“Mariana, our server, was quick to serve us with good coffee and take our breakfast order. The food was delicious. Perfectly cooked and presented. Mariana made sure our coffee was replenished. Tony's has a comfy family restaurant feel. You feel welcome. You don't feel rushed as you do in a chain restaurant. We shall dine again during our stay in Fairfield Glade.“

“There is always a crowd enjoying fellowship and fine food. This has long been a favorite of our family and friends since our children were young.Always good food , friendly staff and reasonable prices. They were short staffed on this visit so the atmosphere was a bit rushed and not as relaxing.“

“This place is fantastic. The food is amazing, the prices are FAR better than most comparable restaurants, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Occasionally, you may hit just the tiniest bit of a language barrier, but it's virtually negligible, and almost adds to the charm. My wife and I have loved this place since the first time we tried it, and it's now basically our regular date night place.“

“My wife and I are huge fans of sushi. We moved here from Nashville about a year and a half ago, and we were prepared to face the fact that high quality sushi was a thing of the past. Then we discovered this restaurant. The sushi they prepare is expertly crafted with enough variety to give anyone and everyone a roll they will fall in love with. Each roll we get is a work of art, and the little intricate designs of sauce the sushi chef adorns the plates with makes each roll we order photo-worthy. We were shocked when we first sat down in this restaurant over a year ago. And pleasantly surprised that the quality remained incredibly high on each subsequent visit. They truly rival some of our favorite sushi stops in even the largest of cities.Additionally, the service has been the best we’ve experienced in Crossville, and consistently at that. The attentive, knowledgeable, and polite wait staff coupled with the quality of food has made this, hands down, the best restaurant we have experienced in Crossville. And we have experienced virtually every restaurant here at this point. Our only wish is for the owners to expand to a larger, more modern building to give their food and service the atmosphere it deserves. After over a dozen visits (and zero disappointments in any capacity), I can say confidently that they have truly EARNED our loyalty as customers.“

“Loved our server. She was very thoughtful, kept coffee freshened, and was attentive to my 5-year-old great granddaughters requests (egg & bacon on toast-NO PICKLE, please). We didn't get there until 5 p.m. after church & were starving! The food was so good that we kept adding during our meal, so we were a difficult bunch. Last year we began a New Year's day tradition by eating @ the Caryville, Tn. Waffle House. We've moved to Rockwood & had to drive 35 miles to the Crossville Waffle House. I am 76 & we are 4 generations. See y'all in Crossville next N.Y.Day!!Kid-friendliness: Mentioned above.“

“Gave it five starts for atmosphere but it is a pretty basic dining area. Easy going. No loud music. Go here a lot for take out and dine in. Always good. Always take home the extra food. Staff very friendly. Menu is Asian fusion but the Teppanyaki style dishes are the reason to go there.“
