“My family and I were looking for a place to eat on our way to Kentucky to visit the Noah's Ark Encounter and happened upon El Jinete. They are located in strip mall type place. The outside looks according, but is just as nice as a stand alone building.Inside is nice and decorated well. They had a packed house...for a Friday night I expect this was probably normal for them. We walked in and they immediately sat us even though they don't have much room (tables very close together). They quickly served us and kept good attention on us without too much. Food had a good flavor, especially for AmeriMex (American Mexican) food. The chips and salsa have a good flavor, not overpowered by the tomato. My wife had the Nachos Fajita Jalisco, my little girl rice and beans, boy chicken tenders and fries and I had the Choriqueso (cheese dip with jalapeños and chorizo) and salsa tomatillo. Most places don't charge for the spicy salsa, but they did here ($1). Decent value for the money. Only drawbacks for my family and I is that it also has a bar and the closeness of the seats. We were basically sitting with another family. We'd most likely return here again if we were in the area. Apparently, others think so too. They have 2 other locations. No military discount offered.“

“Food is great! Music they play is a good touch, always chill. Just takes a long time to get your food & to order. Ordered online a day ahead and I still had to wait for my food. Seems like they need more workers but it’s been like this for a while. Great food, lackluster service. Fine in service is the same. Had to wait every time at the counter because no one was there for 4-5 minutes.“

“The food here is excellent. Very good and priced fairly. The atmosphere is not as great. It’s in a strip mall but don’t let that stop you because it’s worth it. The service can be very hit or miss. We’ve had great service here and terrible service and there seems to be a high server turnover as we rarely see the same server again from visit to visit.“

“This place is a little off of the beaten path, but a good place to go for a tasty American meal They're on the same road where the Post Athenian used to be. The atmosphere is "eclectic" which I like ok and there's plenty of parking. It's wheelchair accessible which came in handy when my Dad was still alive. I like their burgers! Try them out!“

“Staff is very efficient, we were quoted 15 minutes and seated in 10 minutes! Lots of 3 and 4 star employees (sign of longevity) The only downside was the long line to cash out. I love that I can scan the receipt and pay on my phone now, way to go CB that was a great move!“

“Food is always good!! We get takeout there at least every other week! Only complaint I have is they aren’t always the friendliest over the phone or picking up in person. I know they get busy; however, attitude at the front of the house always leaves an impression. Will continue to be loyal customers.“

“My boyfriend and I always rate where we eat but never to an extent where we go online. Noodles, chicken, wontons, soup, variety of food. shrimp, muscles, crawfish. this definitely deserves a five star . the waitress also filled my drink 3 times and was super sweet. And the bathroom was clean. if your looking for a Chinese buffet, this is the place for you.“

“Service was okay. Initial bartender was on point. The one that came on shift while we were still there spent most of her time socializing with the guys at the end of the bar. Overall, for what everything costs, I usually have a better experience and food at Texas Roadhouse.“

“Me and my wife decided to finally try Angela's and we were not disappointed. She got the captain Kenny and I got the cheesy bacon burger. Both were excellent and I would highly recommend. The servers were all so nice and just a great atmosphere. We both brought home the triple leches cake to try and I'm excited about it. It is a little expensive but well worth the money. Gonna try to cuban next time and my wife wants to try the chicken Philly.“
