The staff was more than accommodating, they were down right awesome and made us feel special. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We loved the salsa bar too! We will recommend to family and friends to eat here. 🔥We will definitely be eating here often!“

“This was my first food truck visit in the city, and it was a great experience overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated that they gave out buzzers so you could relax in your car while waiting for your order!

I came mainly for the Birria Tacos with the dipping sauce. Unfortunately, they were a bit of a letdown this time, very mild in flavor, even with the sauce. It almost seemed like the seasoning was forgotten, and the shells, though fried, had become somewhat soggy by the time I received them. Hopefully, that was just an off day because I really wanted to love them.

On the bright side, the Chicken Quesadilla was fantastic! Perfectly seasoned, hearty, and packed with flavor it completely made the visit worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back to give the Birria Tacos another shot and will update my review after I do.

“We love tacos and this is our favorite taco truck for sure! The pickled cabbage is so good on top of the pollo taconganas! 🤌 all of the flavors come together so nicely. The food is always so fresh and it doesn’t take long. Once you order, just play a game or two and your food is ready!

“This place genuinely serves the best tacos and burritos I've ever had in my life. As someone who travels for works and has the singular pleasure of trying eateries from around the country, I have never and I mean ever come across a restaurant, mind you a food stand with Mexican food as genuine as this. If you've never been here or are traveling through, you have to try this place!!! The Asada tacos I got were LOADED and tasted amazing. Their Pastor burrito, no joke, brought a damn tear to my eye it was so good.

“Going against the latest trend, this food truck is actually stationary and only open at night. This refreshing change up is rewarded by the great food and knowledgeable crew. I loved the Mulitas. They were tasteful and plentiful and beautifully plated. The prices are reasonable. I made the mistake of taking a bite before getting my pictures...lol...so that is why there aren't any. But, since I will go back, I will get multiple pics then.“

“This place was referred to me by one of my patients. I kept saying I can't find any decent tamales since I moved here two years ago. She was please tell me about this lovely little spot I absolutely love their tamale options and have gone back multiple times. My husband was surprisingly pleased with the rice and beans (he's not really a Mexican food fan). I would definitely highly recommend this place!“

“I never heard of Pops until 2025. When I walked into the place, it was clean and cozy. It's a small establishment, and I’m quite big, but they took my order without any hassle. Initially, I didn’t have enough money, but the staff kindly made my order anyway. I quickly grabbed a few extra dollars from the ATM. When I got my food, everything was hot and fresh. I really enjoyed the tamales; they were packed with meat and easy to extract from the paper.

In comparison, my experience at Hattie’s was very disappointing. The place had an unpleasant smell, and the tamales stuck to the paper, making it messy to get them out. Overall, Pops provided a much better experience and superior food.“

“I ordered the fajitas. They were the best I’ve ever had!! My husband had the garlic fried fish! I tried it! Amazing! It felt like I was in a foreign place experiencing new food for the first time!! Awesome experience!! Don’t let the sign fool you. It says supermarket in Spanish underneath the restaurant but that is because they are connected!! The prices are very good too!! “Taco nganas is super legit like the best taco truck in town. They're not voted best in town for no reason. It isn't the most authentic as far as traditional authentic style but they are the best. My daughter also loves ramen, its like "her thing", and taco nganas birria Ramen bowl is so delicious and flavorful. Thier shrimp tacos are absolutely fire! I was even blown away at the incredible flavor of something so simple as a quesadilla. Literally everything the do is the best a step above the rest. Thier prices are a slight bit higher than average taco truck prices but theres a good reason for it. The extra steps and preparations they put into each item being top notch is worth it. This place is a must to every taco truck lover for sure.“

“Am at the point where hearing the word Torta any time within the lunchtime window triggers me like a sleeper agent and I find myself driving down Summer in an almost hypnotized state to get the $10.99 torta de carnitas here. Don’t know how good the other food is. Never ordered it. Torta de carnitas with whatever homemade salsa they’ve got that day, dipping the whole sandwich in it like I’m eating a French dip with au jus. Bread so soft. Carnitas so tender. Salsa so smoky. Torta de carnitas…..“

“Hands down, no exception, beyond a reasonable doubt, unequivocally.... the best tacos in town! I need to figure out how I ordered the first time because they were dipped in a red broth or something, and it was amazing! Love all the tacos I have ordered so far.
I can't wait to go back again and again!!!
Service is great and if you're somewhat in a hurry, this should be your go-to.

“Very authentic Mexican ice cream place. Very low-key . Super good quality snacks and sweets. Totally recommend!!! I prefer going here rather than La Michoacána.

Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating. They have seats and tables for the children to sit. And even have a tv they sometimes play kid movies on. The whole store look very vibrant and attractive to the eye. Kids will enjoy being in here to eat some treats !

Parking: The parking is Infront of the store. However because the store is low key there's not much space to park. You would need to mainly park in the store next to it to have good and safe parking.“

“My girlfriend is mad because she wanted nachos but they never arrived then she was mad because when they manager came she said she would bring the food but never did. Then it was Smokey we couldn’t eat and we were outside and I had to listen to racism the whole the time. Onesimo did a good job this is a nice place. I recommend coming back here.“
