The beef tartare is a MUST as are the onigiri for appetizers. The caramel miso Creme brulee has amazing depth and is on point across all categories. The venue is small, so you may have to wait but it is WELL worth it!“

It was my husband’s birthday, and had they not helped us, the night honestly would have been a disaster (NYE restaurant crowds are no joke!). “This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Nashville. And always has been since I was little. The food is still really good there, even to this day. However, the biggest reason I love coming here is because of Bruce. He is the man. He is so energetic, funny, and entertaining to his customers. He's been cooking it out for 43 years, and it amazes me how he is still there today. Sadly, he wasn't the cook at my table yesterday, but I did get to say hello to him. I will be back again sometime, and hopefully, he'll be our cook 😁“
