“All around great experience. The hostess was kind and seated us for our reservation quickly. It’s a very small space so a reservation is your best bet. Easy free parking. Server was kind and attentive and helpful with our decisions.
Food: shared the inari, goma-ae, and chirashi bowl to start between 3 people. They added an extra inari as it usually comes with 2 pieces. The inari and goma-ae were good but the chirashi bowl had the it factor. Then, I got the miso clam ramen and a chicken katsu. I think I’d go for the chicken curry rice next time. Sister and aunt loved their dishes: creamy bacon udon and yellowtail collar. If I went back it would be for the chirashi bowl. Finished off our meal sharing the parfait and it was worth it!“

“It’s been a number of years since we frequented Kayne Prime due to a move out of state. Last night’s experience was excellent. We were celebrating my husband’s retirement and each staff member we encountered asked about it, congratulated him and took care to make it notable. You also upped your game with the cute goat cheese tarts and palette cleanser. Last night was truly an experience above the excellent meal you are known for. We are blessed to have dined in many high end restaurants and last night you especially rose to the top. Must shout out our server Matthew. He is so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. “This fried chicken we got was next level DELICIOUS, from the breading, to the chicken seasoning, and that special sauce it came with. Yum!!! Highly recommended! The portion is large and priced reasonably. We found this place online and was skeptical at first since it’s not a traditional set up restaurant, turned out to be such a hidden gem! “This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Nashville. And always has been since I was little. The food is still really good there, even to this day. However, the biggest reason I love coming here is because of Bruce. He is the man. He is so energetic, funny, and entertaining to his customers. He's been cooking it out for 43 years, and it amazes me how he is still there today. Sadly, he wasn't the cook at my table yesterday, but I did get to say hello to him. I will be back again sometime, and hopefully, he'll be our cook 😁“

We had chefs Shane and Gage, and beverage curation by Shaylise (apologies if any name spelling is wrong). They provided not only an informative, special, and mindful meal but also a welcoming and fun atmosphere. From the welcome cocktail to the final dessert everything was personal and delicious. I went in expecting to have a favorite and least favorite course but every single bite was so fantastic and carefully curated, I couldn’t choose between them. “We tried this lovely and delicious restaurant last night. The first thing I learned was they have two menus- one for sushi/sashimi and one for Thai cuisine. This review is about the Thai menu choices. Their menu is available online. There are many different and delicious sounding rice and noodle dishes with veggies that you can order with your choice of chicken, meat, seafood, or tofu. Their diverse menu also offers a tempting selection of fried rice dishes, appetizers, soups, and desserts. They ask you to let them know if you would like your dish to have some heat, and how much. Prices are comparable with or even less than other Thai restaurants I’ve been to. My brother chose red curry, made with coconut milk and mouth wateringly good with veggies, chicken, and jasmine rice. I had pho, a Vietnamese soup. The huge and certainly dinner-size bowl of oh so good luscious broth was filled with noodles, veggies, pork that I chose, and basil, bean sprouts, and slices of jalapeño pepper and lime on the side to be added as desired. I dumped them all in and dug in. Ummm umm SO good, YUM! We had mango sticky rice for dessert. If you like mangos, I’d say this dessert is not to be missed! The rice IS sticky. In fact it’s stuck together- sweet and especially delicious with the mango. The staff was extremely helpful, welcoming and warm and friendly. They enthusiastically answered my questions.
