I got the Mac and Cheese and jalapeno poppers.The poppers were great , the Mac and cheese was sort of disappointing sort of bland .Owner I assume and helpers were super cool , they love what they do and keep a smile on your face with their personalities.Will definitely come back when we come back down .”

“My little boy and me stopped in here on Friday afternoon and both of the ladies working were so sweet to my son and to myself and he got a hotdog which he loved and even though it wasn't on the menu they made me a roasted turkey bacon cheese and tomato sandwich that was so dang good I felt like I was back 20 years on my mamaws front porch eating garden tomatoes on a sandwich just like this. “Today was the first time I had ever seen Ridgewood Barbecue. Our Bible study group went there to eat and let me tell you. IT WAS AWESOME!!!! I had the pork barbecue platter and all the food was just FABULOUS! I will be back.”

“So hear me out…I have been wanting to try Calaveras for a while now. I went Thursday and they closed at 7:30 due to being sold out of everything (that should tell you something). So I said I’ll go Friday. Went Friday around 6:30 for the Esquite (Mexican street corn) and the Clasico (Three QuesaBirrias with an order of Consome-Birria Broth). They were sold out of both. My heart broke again. Learned the secret to calling ahead to order and finally got my hands on both today. I had to stop in the parking lot on the way out and try both. It was the most delicious Mexican cuisine I’ve had around here or in my life really! I was so busy eating I dipped my new dress sleeve in the broth without knowing because I was too busy eating. ? I ended up playing darts most of the evening and had a great time. Justin, the manager, is an awesome guy and made me feel very welcome. Food we had to go was great just like our appetizer, however our waitress didn’t want us there and we felt it the moment we was sat down with our with her taking our drink order, she would be the reason others wouldn’t try a great restaurant again in the future potentially.
