“I went to this location last year for an annual trip and it was new and packed so I ordered ahead so I wouldn’t have to wait this year for 30 minutes for my food. Gotta get back on the road. It was not packed, no line. The restaurant was a no little dingier than last year, bathroom was a little messed up, sticky floors. The food was food and the staff was ok.“

“Stopped while traveling through. Got great service the food was delicious. And left with a drink refill to go as I got back on the road. I travel through the area at least 4 times a year and this Cheddars might be on the short list to stop by. There are not any close to where I live.“

“We had to come to this institution of Southern Meat and 3 Restaurants. As a Chef, I always seek out the best places in the cities I travel to. They won a James Beard Award in 2009. Met the Owner, Rose, and her son, Cahill. They bought is dessert which was this awesome Bread Pudding and Peach Pie that was just incredible. This is a place that shows what True Southern Food and True Southern Hospitality are all about. Thank You“

“Authentic, delicious and great people. Very clean and great retro vibe, loved the jukebox and song lists right at the table. Food was hot, delicious and service was warm and attentive. Best grits I've had in a long time. Will gladly revisit next time I'm in town!“

“This spot was recommended to us, and it was definitely worth the trip. The biscuits were everything you want, tasty, buttery, and perfectly flaky. Do yourself a favor and add a side of gravy. The chicken biscuit sandwich. So good. Honestly, this place makes you want to come back just to work your way through the whole menu.“
