“Tacos for the win! We were staying at the HI Express nearby and after a death defying walk over (seriously...no sidewalks and a crosswalk from and to nowhere), we scored AWESOME tacos. We're from AZ and travel all over the country in our RV and are always on the hunt for great tacos. This place had them! Totally worth the walk...and then we ducked into the gas station and picked up some margaritas in the can and we were set. This is a great place so head over and get some great food for a super price!“

I had the Fungi ravioli portabella Although the choice of title for this dish might turn some away I knew it was something similar to other favorites Ive tried . “This area of Woodbine has a half dozen taco trucks & stands on every block. Don Carbón's truck is worth the stop. My al pastor came perfectly seasoned, the vegetables were fresh, the frijoles refritos were flavorful without being greasy, and the rice was fluffy & moist. Importantly, nothing was oversalted — a refreshing departure from so many other taquerías that go heavy on the salt. Plus, the salsa cremosa verde had a proper kick to it.“

“These were some good tacos I’ve had in a while. My absolute favorite was the BBQ taco, it was packed with so much flavor and so juicy! The steak taco (tender) was good as well as the pollo (it was ok) but the BBQ taco was the highlight of the meal. I also ordered a asada quesadilla and it was delicious with the green sauce.I wish I was given more limes. The tortillas was dry but when you top it with the sauce everything came together.Very clean food truck! Was impressed on the cleanliness for it to be located outside a gas station. 9.2/10“

“For 5 years, FIVE YEARS, I have been on a quest to find some good Mexican food in Nashville. Taco Chela was crowned the best for me, but further to get to and out of the way. This place is in a great location for those of us out of West Nashville and IT IS THE BEST! No fake tacos made with flower shells drowned in flowerless sauce. It's the real deal and people leaving a negative review on here over payments are whack because handling a cash transaction isn't rocket science. Do you see prices on a menu? No you don't so they can charge whatever they want and if you don't like it go eat the fake food around town.“
