“There was a really long wait tonight but once we were seated with Ramone (Ramón?) he hustled hard! We had our drinks and food out to us quick and fast! We watched him serve many tables and he really made sure everyone was cared for. My son appreciated him calling him “Boss” as he asked for the type of refill he needed. We felt the happiness and chaos of a busy night. Even a “Happy birthday” was sung. I will say, the wait when is quoted 15-20 always double that, but it’s worth the wait to have such a great spot locally. With great bartenders, cooks and wait staff. We adore our El Dorado nights! You simply must get the fried chicken hand dropped to order. We loved our sides of okra, turnip greens, and mashed potatoes with brown or peppery white gravy. The service was great and the owner came out and sat a spell to chat. Worth a drive off the beaten path!”

“We've eaten here about 15 times. The ingredients are fresh but every sandwich we get ends up soaking wet with wet ingredients leaving the bread. Too many wet elements that leave the bread soaked. I think I'll stick to a burger.”
