Fantastic! Had the Egg Bagel and the Iced Tahini Vanilla Latte. My only complaint is that there’s not enough seating so had to take it to go. Nevertheless, I will be back!
My husband and I enjoyed delicious bagels here for breakfast. I had the everything bagel with scallion shmear, and appreciated that they put extra scallions on top! My husband had the bacon, egg and cheese on sesame and remarked that the bacon was extra thick and tasty. The guy who took our order was friendly and welcoming. Would come back when we’re in town again!
Wow. This place was amazing. Great food, great service and a repeat restaurant for sure! Their bagels are amazing but the doughnuts are out of this world good. They ran out of doughnuts and made some just for us. What kindness that put a smile on our faces and doughnuts in our bellies! Thank you!

Hungry Mother is a coffee shop and restaurant in Chattanooga with the best coffee, fresh baked bagels, and bread made everyday. The hand made bagels and sandwiches are top notch, with favorites like the everything bagel with vegan cream cheese, trout bagel, Maple Tahini latte, coppa sandwich, and homemade donut. The stecca bread for sandwiches is incredible, and every staff member is incredibly kind, with a fantastic customer service ethic. One of the owners greets guests and is involved in serving. The atmosphere is great for sitting with a friend for breakfast or getting work done. All items are made fresh from local sources. Customers consistently enjoy every item and look forward to returning.
