“I tried Nuestra Casa out yesterday for the first time and they did not disappoint!! I got the Quesabirrias and they were amazing, full of flavor. That is one thing most I’ve found lack, but this was place didn’t! I also got a side of their rice and it was also great. Their green sauce is also fantastic with the right amount of spice. “I've been on the hunt for the best street tacos in town, and I think I've finally found them. This little taco stand is tucked away in a corner of the city, but it's definitely worth seeking out. The carne asada tacos are my absolute favorite. The meat is perfectly grilled and seasoned, and the tortillas are warm and soft. The birria tacos are also amazing. The meat is so tender and flavorful, and the broth is rich and delicious. But what really sets these tacos apart is the attention to detail. The tortillas are made fresh every day, and the meat is cooked to perfection. The toppings are also perfectly balanced, and the salsas are homemade and flavorful. If you're looking for the best street tacos in town, look no further. This little taco stand is sure to satisfy your cravings. “I’m from Texas & it’s been four years of nothing but terrible Mexican food from several restaurants. BUT!!! We moved into the area recently from Franklin & this Columbia restaurant is our new go to spot. To debunk the bad reviews, there’s no way the food was cold.. Plates are so hot that they have to have mitts to hold the plates when bringing the food out. The salsa & salsa verde are made in house & it’s the only Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in TN that hasn’t had jarred salsa. The chips are not stale… They are thick due to being made in house & not bagged chips from a distributor. They even have a tortilla maker right in the middle of the restaurant! As for the other Texan in the reviews, expecting an enchilada with cheese sauce (no true Texan eats that besides a 10 y/o child)… Enchiladas in Texas are far different than traditional enchiladas to begin with.
I went for lunch & got the Carne Asada. It was fantastic. Everything was so good that I brought my husband back the same day for dinner. He had a steak chimichanga & I had pollo taquitos. All of it was so good & comparable to what we are used to being from Texas. Prices are not expensive either! I had a margarita flight which was delicious & actually worth it, if you know what I mean.. My husband had a frozen house margarita & he too was feeling it! Needless to say, we will be back. I went from wanting to go to a nice steakhouse with reservations for my birthday but NOPE! I’m going here!!! Too good to pass up. The ambience is awesome too.“

Maybe they saw the $10 off coupon from a past (like three times now) mistake at trotwood and hooked it up, or maybe, just maybe, they actually put out a decent product like it’s supposed to be.
