“Happened to be in Covington and was checking restaurants near by and saw Pappy and Jimmy's. Same owner as the one that was in Memphis, but not seafood anymore, no lobsters in a tank. It's now Southern Home Cooking. Service was great, food was great. A real diamond in the rough if you're looking for some good Southern Food.”

“Been going there for 2 years now. I am new in town and thank full that somebody knows how to cook in covington tenn. Nancy is always coming up with new menu items. Her kind nature is genuine. Brought lunch to our home recently, knowing that I was ill from a medical procedure. Angles like this are hard to find.”

“Not all champs chicken locations are equal. This one was ran well when we stopped by. The chicken was fresh, recently made, and the oil was not old. Old oil makes the food darker and have a burntish aftertaste to it. This was a light brown color and no bad aftertaste. The staff was friendly. The sink in mens restroom had too high of pressure. Be very careful when turning it on.”

“Great place for coffee and meal! We had the Flannel Jacket and a Cappucino. Both were very good, not too sweet. For meals we had the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant - delicious. The other meal was the ham, egg, and cheese everything bagel. Again very delicious. 10000% will be coming back.”

“Bad Boy Bakery catered our 50th Wedding Anniversery. The food was wonderful. All our guests loved it. The owners are wonderful people. Bakery products are great and the catering service is wonderful. We highly recommend them and will use them again.”

“There are new owners at this location and I must say the food was great. I ordered the seafood broil with the ginger seasoning the first go around it was more than enough for the price that was paid I enjoyed it very much. Then I went back 2 days ago and ordered the gyro family combo the gyro was really big with a lot of meat in it and they fixed it how I asked great customer service. Keep up the good work”

“Everything (except our server) was pretty good. Didn't order any cocktails, so can't attest to the quality of that. Our server was rude and a little passive aggressive actually. However, the manager was awesome, extremely friendly and attentive.”

“My mother, 2-year-old son, and I are in the area to handle family affairs.
We decided to stop by this amazing location to get something quick for the drive that would cater to my dietary restrictions.
Ms. Sharita is a beautiful soul who patiently listened to our order (something we are not used this as we live DFW Texas).
When we pulled up to the window, I inquired if they had chocolate milk, but to my dismay, this was not something they sold. But Ms. Sharita immediately came up with a solution to get a child's milk bottle, add some chocolate syrup from the ice cream station, and shake it to make a DIY chocolate milk.
To top it off, she also posted this sign on her window.
