“I love this place! Healthy choices and a unique menu with plenty of options to customize your meal. I typically order the kids meal which is an afforable option for a light lunch and comes with a drink. The cucumber mint is my favorite drink and I always get the pita chips with crazy feta and skhug sauce. We tried the cinnamon pita chips today with honey. Perfect ending to a great meal. Thankful to my daughter in law for introducing me to CAVA.“

“Amazing first visit for hubby and mine anniversary on 5/28/22. Our server Konnor was wonderful and friendly, never felt ignored even though they were busy. Escargot was the best we’d ever had. Truffle fries to die for. Duo of duck and trout almandine fantastic entrees. Make sure to save room for dessert! Wonderful crème brûlée for myself and profiteroles for hubby (I did not try since am GF). Cocktails also delish although the whiskey sour could use some work/sprucing up. Can’t wait to return!!“

“We traveled from Cookeville 7/2/2025 to try Altruda's. I did not catch our waiter's name but he had glasses and reddish hair. He was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is cozy but also gives speak easy/old world style vibes. We requested strawberry daiquiris but they said they were out of strawberries. The salad was the absolute best. The rolls were very good, but they were drowning in butter. Now the entrees were just ok. We were kinda disappointed. The cannelloni had too much cheese. It was kinda like a cheese soup with some pasta. The manicotti was ok, it was also drowning in sauce. We also ordered cannoli and tiramisu. They were both really good. The price for 3 entrees, a sweet tea, a sprite, 2 desserts, plus a tip was under $100. The prices are reasonable. Overall we had a good experience and we had food left over for lunch today. The experience was nice and we will give Altruda's another try when we have the chance.“

“Wow!! I am completely blown away by what you did last night! Brown Bag catered the Reach Them to Teach Them event where dinner was served to 1,500 Knox area educators. Everyone loved the food, it was delicious and the presentation for an event this big was unbelievable. Those that were familiar with Brown Bag were so excited you were catering it and I think you picked up some new fans from those who had never eaten your food. “My 9yo daughter wanted Double Dogs for her birthday. While they told me they don’t take reservations, they said they would do their best to prepare for us. We showed up with 30 people. They got us seated quickly with best accommodations that they could for a large party. The waitress and the manager took great care of us. We didn’t wait long for food or anything. (I will say we picked a Sunday night to avoid some of the crowd). We’ve went plenty of places with this big crowd, but the experience this time at DD was one of the best!“
