“I was visiting Chattanooga for the weekend.. When traveling, I like to try non-chain restaurants. My daughter found Seafood King Gene on line and off we went. When we arrived it was a food truck. I was horrified as I am skeptical about food safety in food trucks. Because we were starving, I decided to try it. OMG this was the best food I've ever eaten. My daughter wanted seafood but they were sold out. We had rib tips, whole corn-on-the-cob, cheese potatoes, and broccoli. Every bite of each food was soooo scrumptious, seasoned perfectly. Portions were huge; I could eat off of it for three meals--worth the $30 per plate. Even though we had to eat in the car in the parking lot, the food was so good I had to go back to give King Gene a generous tip. Fortunately, my concern about food safety was not an issue. Staff (including King Gene himself) was very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Seafood King Gene Express. The next time I'm in Chattanooga, I will go back. Thanks King Gene, and keep up the great cooking.“

“We love this restuarant and it’s our go-to place for every milestone moments but this review is about a bad experience we had today with our lunch order. We ordered a take out for my husband’s birthday and when we came back home we found one entree is missing. On calling back the restaurant , we explained in details what’s missing and requested them to keep the item ready as we wanted to eat together as a family before everything becomes cold. However when my husband reached the restaurant he was told that they didn’t believe us and then the server went to talk to the chef. After that she was convinced that the issue was on their side and took another 20 mins to give the food. This is outrageous and honestly feels borderline racist. She could’ve checked with the chef before we went back. We love this restaurant but this has left a very bad impression on us“

“Carabba’s came to the rescue after a long day and no energy to cook. The Fettuccine Weesie was a delicious shrimp and pasta meal to share with my husband. The salad and bread were also a welcome addition. I also enjoy Chicken Marsala when we dine in! I’d recommend this Italian restaurant to everyone!“

“Since moving back to TN I've always found the local Mexican food disappointing. Discovering this place has been a game changer. The food aint fast, cheap, or fancy, but it is killer. The Agua fresca drinks are made with real fruit and taste delightful. The staff has always been very welcoming and it gives off a homey vibe. The only downside is its a fairly small place and not suited for large groups.“

“Stopped for lunch. Our waiter was Curtis. He was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He’s an asset to your location. Food was good but not excellent. Both of us got tacos - grilled fish, and steak. The steak tacos were full of flavor but way over-garnished to the point that that sauce was overpowering. They were drenched - ended up eating them with a fork and removing lots of the sauce, etc. Fries and tots were good.“

“First time back to J Alexander's in a long time for no reason. A good experience with attentive service. The seared tuna was excellent and the prime rib was tasty. Meatball appetizer was ok, a bit $$ for what they are. I'm spoiled by my meatballs no restaurant can beat. All in all a good experience.“

“I rarely give out a 5 stars but I just had to for this location! The food was amazing and was ready very quickly and the staff were so very nice and the dining area was very clean and orderly. Only thing that I could remotely complain about is there where no sun shades for the windows but truly isn't a big thing. Been a long while I've had a positive experience at a Captain D's but I reckon I just had to find the right one to go to.“
