“This style of BBQ took me to Southern Texas, where I grew up. Great smokey flavors in the chicken and moist brisket. The sides were on point. Mac and cheese was great. The corn casserole was fantastic. The beans were sweet beans, which I tolerate but prefer BBQ beans. Just different pallet, but tasted good! Overall, if you're on the hunt for Texas BBQ, this is a great option.“
“Chris is just awesome. I sat at a table in the bar doing some work during lunch. Chris and the guy helping him were both very attentive and kind. Chris didn’t mind me staying after I finished eating to have time to finish my work. They even offered a to go drink which to me is one of the best things a server can do lol So I am very thankful to Chris, the other bar server I wish I could remember his name, and the hostess that seated me. Everyone was so kind and the food was well it’s chilis it’s the same at every chilis that’s why we choose it right? Chips and salsa is forever the highlight. Tex mex bowl is delicious. Thanks to the bar staff yesterday!!!“
“Ordered 2 pupusas and 2 tacos per person. The pupusas were a lot bigger than I expected it to be !! They were hot, cheesy, and a little crispy on the outside. The al pastor tacos were delicious too. This place might be our new go to taco place!“

“Food was affordable and tasted great. The caldo de rez had a deep flavor and the carne asada has a savory flavor. Atmosphere was a lil quiet but I don’t mind that since too much noise makes my nerves act up. Got the horchata to drink was a great to taste. “Stumbled into this place while trying to find a parking space for a "Big Name" barbeque place. So glad I did. The ribs were "fall of the bone" tender but I wish they were a little more spicy. The beans and slaw were great and the atmosphere was excellent! I would highly recommend! Oh, cobbler with ice cream made my day!“

“I went to chilis in rivergate and my server was Ireland. She was an amazing. Had such a great uplifting personality , made sure everything was good with me. Checked up the right amount of times. “This is a franchise of the popular Laredo taco company that you'll see in downtown Nashville. This location is only open at select times, and doesn't have the same broad menu that the other ones do. The owner of the place is struggling to keep it afloat and make it work, however the food is still great and still handmade. The prices were on point, although you get more of a portion at the other locations, it was still plenty.I'm not sure if I would recommend this randomly to folks, but if you catch them at the right time this place is amazing.“
