Jack's Family Restaurant Reviews
Good food and service if something is wrong with it they will make it right, also like keeping up with the news not many places show what's really going on in the USA.
Never in my lifetime have I seen such a display of incompetence. I wait 15 minutes to order, no problem. I finally get to order and I get told by the cashier that they are not serving milkshakes 🤷🏻♂️ ohwell. I get my receipt and walk to the side and wait for my order. While I'm standing there I see milkshakes being made so I asked the person making it, Hey are yall serving milkshakes? She said yes. Now I'm frustrated that the lazy cashier lied to me. It gets worse....read full review
Wanted to send this through the website but it wouldn’t work. We came through around 4 O’clock this afternoon and ordered two 8 piece nuggets with fries and a half and half tea. I am normally a huge fan of your chicken strip’s and fries. Today these nuggets and fries were so dry it was ridiculous. Jack's Family Restaurant offers a dining experience that varies significantly by shift and staff. Many customers praise the service, food, and value as beyond impeccable, describing it as delicious comfort food worth a guilty pleasure. The people are often called awesome, kind, respectful, and hardworking, with specific employees noted for being helpful, polite, and caring in accommodating special requests, such as putting green beans in a bowl. The main foods and shakes are consistently reported as amazing.
However, experiences can be terrible depending on management. When a particular male manager is working, service is wonderful, friendly, and attentive. Conversely, when a certain female manager is on duty, reviews report rude service and disgusting food, citing issues like hard, dry biscuits and gravy or burnt, old pies where the filling is unrecognizable. Service at closing time can also make customers feel like a burden, with a lack of appreciation expressed. While the drive-through service is often efficient, there are problems with phone orders and checking bags for accuracy. For many, if consistency issues were fixed, the place would be perfect.
