We tried this restaurant and were so impressed! The speakeasy decor gives a romantic vibe, and we loved the live piano music as well. Everything we tried from the grilled lettuce to the ghost burger and steak were on another level! It was clear that so much thought had been put into each menu item. Chef Sonar came out to talk with us as well. I can’t believe there is something so high quality so close to home! Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.
Excellent brunch, lots of delicious GF options, in a cool space. Will be back.
If you ever are towards Jefferson City, you need to check out Ghost & Grits! You will not be disappointed! Coffee, breakfast and brunch options! I can't believe this dish was gluten free! Chicken and fries use rice flour. 5 Stars in my Book

Ghost & Grits @ The Battery Tasting House is an awesome brunch spot. The chef is the best, with dishes that are amazing. The shrimp and grits are very delicious, though it needed to come with toast to clean the bowl. Chef specials are some of the best food, savored every single bite. The food is fresh, and the ghost fries are just delicious. The atmosphere, service, and food are all spectacular. The place is beautifully decorated, embodying class and top tier service. Craft cocktails are delicious and priced well. It is a unique gem, a refreshing experience with farm to table and seasonal specials. The service is always friendly and personal. The atmosphere can only be beaten by the quality of the food. A beautiful place for a solo brunch, not to be missed.
