Based on the reviews, Oak & Anchor Grill is a wonderful restaurant with excellent food and great service. The atmosphere is charming and absolutely gorgeous, especially the “date night” area. Everything was perfect, from appetizers like the pimento cheese dip and potato croquettes to main courses. The blackened grouper tacos were seasoned well, and the fish and chips with duck fat fries were absolutely delicious. The blackened Mahi Mahi tacos with Mexican corn and the 12oz ribeye with mushroom are also highly recommended. They use Lazy Lady Bakery for their baked goods and dessert, which was great. The service is wonderful, with attentive staff making sure drink refills are provided. The prices were reasonable. This is a great addition to JC, and diners will definitely return.
