“My friend and I went to the Subway on Lovell Ave (DO NOT GO) and the person working there took 20 minutes to make our food, asking what we wanted on them at least 6 times, and had dirt caked on his hands and fingernails. There was dirt on our cups and bags, and we were extremely disgusted. We had no idea what to do because we knew he wasn’t going to be helpful. I’m pretty sure he was in another world lol.
So we drove to this location. Noah helped us out. We explained the situation and he immediately remade our sandwiches free of charge. He was super nice, chatting with us and the sandwiches were perfect. We can’t thank him enough after the stressful situation at the other location. “They didn't have ice because it was stuck in the machine because it wasn't cool enough in the restaurant to keep the ice from melting in the machine. I told them I wanted a refund for the drink I paid for because most people prefer ice in their drinks.“

I DO have an issue with only having 1 employee working a retail business, and I’m not even talking about the customer service implications. It’s the safety of the workers. I would think if 2 people are supposed to to work and somebody calls out, the franchise owner comes in, or the location needs to be closed due to staffing issues. The safety of your employees is the most important thing. No exceptions. Do better, Subway. Just trying to save a buck and putting people in danger to do so. The Dominos in Powell has a franchise owner that comes in when they are short staffed, like a good leader should.“
“This is one of the cleanest subways in south Knox. They are a bit under staffed but seems to be the normal thing these days everywhere. Each worker ,works their bottoms off . I think if the company would keep the stores equipment updated more ..it'd prob help and if the company it's self would hire people and send them to stores that's only got 2 or 3 workers that'd help also . I love the flavor of the new meat they have,everything seems stocked well everytime im there. Those workers get the job done even tho I've seem them treated very poorly by customers. It's like some customers seem to.forget these are people.also, so I try to keep that in my mind when im anywhere. These same 2 woman. Are ALWAYS here no matter the time of day . “Great food (normal Subway fare, of which I happen to be fond).Apparently there was only one worker there, but he was doing his level best to keep up with customers. We waited for less than 10 minutes total for our food, so no real complaints there.“
“I wanted to give Subway a try after many many years of going to Firehouse and Penn station. I have been craving a nice sandwich and wanted to see after all those years if subway had improved. I got the number 10 American club brought it home and ate it. 13$ for a foot long was a little much but I enjoyed the sandwich. The employee was super friendly, I'll definitely be back to take care of my craving.
I'll probably get a meatball or pizza sub next. ?

“Sept.2,2024 @ 9:51pm, my husband was in the hospital and I went to the cafeteria to subway, there was several people in line and only one subway worker, I don't know his name but his server # is 243696, very nice young man, but one customer treated him very badly, he had made this man a footlong sandwich and as it was toasting he offered to get another couple their soups, this made the man mad and he went off on the server, he said a few choice words and walked out refusing his sandwich, the server tried to explain that he was multitasking till his sandwich got toasted, the man ask for a supervisor and corporates number the server gave the number and apologized which infuriated the man more, it was a shame to treat this young man this way he was very professional and I personally think he deserves a raise, he did nothing wrong,I have never seen a kin or Karen in action and hope to never see it again it was ugly and uncalled for. Hats off to server # 243696, you are awesome and I would definitely have you serve me again all businesses should have more people like you

He was professional and calm despite the long line of work ahead.
He was a pleasure to talk to and made our sandwiches perfectly.

All told, after the line and the time to make our order, our receipt listed the time as 5:17p. This is the only hangup at this location... the wait time. Otherwise, it is an excellent Subway shop.“
