“We stumbled upon this happy hour to escape Memphis relentless heat. Great bar area with comfortable stools. The bar tender, larger guy with a bread was friendly, helpful, attentive and offered a bar snacks menu but also suggested that we could have the restaurant menu from 5 pm which we readily accepted. It was all sensational and we stayed longer and spent more because they were so welcoming and the wine and food fantastic. It was a great night, we tipped generously. Thanks so much“

“I came to support a group of students earlier this week to celebrate winning king and queen of the school. First of all let me say the staff was very rude to the administration staff. Even though reservations were made and confirmed and they knew in advance that the students were coming they refused to seat our party and denied the reservations ever being made even after being shown the email messages. The female manager asked for us to wait outside of the restaurant being that it was about 42 degrees that day until the limousine arrived to pick the students back up . The children were dressed in their Sunday best with white dresses and the young boys were in tuxedos and were looking forward to having their luncheon that was awarded to them for their hard work at school. I strongly believe that if the students were not all African American and staff as well they would have treated us differently. I will never ever support nor spend money with Majestic Grill again. I was hurt the way they treated these students who worked oh so hard and were looking forward to what was supposed to be a special day to remember.“

The fried green tomatoes and cornbread were delicious apps to start off !! A few mixed drinks and a glass of wine soothed the mood . The Gnocchi did not disappoint and the “ blue crab “ spaghetti was a pleasant surprise!! But the desert!!! The CHOCOLATE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING ….Let me be clear … BEST DESERT IN ALL MY TRAVELS !! “Had a great time with a small group of friends. A couple of people got salads and others got different burgers. Everything was yummy. All the Flying Saucer Bar and Restaurants have a nice selection of beer both domestic, local and imported. Their draft selection is great if you want to try different types of beer I paid for 3 if us together so we didn't have to pay the waitress separately and the bill for food and alcohol for 3 adults who were there over 3 hours was $70 including 25% tip. This location was downtown and there was difficulty finding parking. Street and parking lots had meters that you needs to scan the QR code on the meter and pay Premium Parking Company between $1.50 and $2.00 an hour. It was $6 for 3 hours of parking on the street for me right around the corner from the restaurant entrance. Premium seems to have a foothold in Memphis and surrounding areas because I finally decided to use their app when I parked downtown or around Crosstown Concourse. They send a text alert about 20 minutes or so before time on the meter expires and if need to increase the time you can just go to the website or app and add the appropriate amount of money.“

“I’m a local event planner here in Memphis , Just Right Events. I’ve hosted several events here and the hospitality of the owner and staff is always excellent ! I always would stop by before a show at the Orpheum or Grizzlies game and have a drink or two. Always a Great Time!“

“The owners are just amazing. Mary walks around and interacts with everyone letting them know that everyone is treated as family. Their son Devin helped me with a flat tire one time and advised me on a new haircut!!! I definitely look better after his advice. Chelsea is the bartender and is always ready with prompt service. She once wrestled a possum off of my car for me and then trained him and then housed him because he was an orphan. I wonder how that possum is doing these days? “As a vegetarian it is so nice to find a slider place with so many vegetarian and vegan options. We tried both the vegan wings and the veggie sliders. I do wish the server had explained a bit more that the egg and pb&j sliders are just that, no vegan meat. Those we probably would have skipped. The vegan chicken slider and veggie burger were great. The wings are a combo of tofu sticks and cauliflower bunches with a kick.“

Stephen, the bar manager, was very knowledgeable about all the menu items, their ingredients and how they were prepared. He made excellent recommendations.
