“Great food and great service.“

“I was in town for meetings with the nonprofit I work for, Carpenter Art Garden and we had an executive lunch here. Apparently our Executive Director eats here very often and loves it. I really liked the wings, the collard greens, and the grits.
However, please note, that if you are lactose intolerant like me that it might not be such a good idea to eat the greens and grits at the same time ??.

Nonetheless, the food was amazing, service was amazing, and I am sure the next time I come back in town that we'll be going back.“

“Food came out prompt and as ordered. Frys were hot. Cashier was nice and friendly. One of my favorites to eat at. My family and I eat hear a few time a month.“

“Food here is always amazing. Owners and staff are also always amazing. I’ve often seen the owners at the counter taking orders and running food! The seasoning on most of the menu is called “Piri piri” seasoning. Which is Swahili for “pepper pepper” so its obviously slightly spicy. I saw a less than good review from a person saying they were upset the food was a little spicy. So if it says “piri piri” just know that there will be some kick. Give it a google guys. If you don’t want it just let them know! They can withhold the seasoning! Don’t leave bad reviews on good food because you didn’t research. it’s meant to be similar to other South African cuisine in the Memphis area (in my opinion) if you’ve been to bonefish or similar. But very healthy! Grilled fish, grilled chicken, and grilled veggies are the majority of the menu. I’ve seen lots of business lunches and body builders when I’ve been there for lunch or dinner. The appetizer called “humdinger shrimp” is to die for. It’s fried shrimp tossed in a spicy aoili served over (what I think) is an aisan slaw. It’s my favorite. If you’re not interested in any of that then I would suggest asking for maybe a blackened salmon or tilapia over a Caesar salad or even a blackened salmon or tilapia in a Caesar wrap. The vibe inside the restaurant is similar to an upscale Mcalisters. You order at the counter and you can watch the staff cook your food through the glass windows. You get a number for your table and when your food is ready they bring it out. There is a self service drink counter also and several dessert options. I recommend the strawberry cake ❤️“

Madison was mycashier and I felt compelled to write a post telling her what a great job she did. The entire staff there was extremely helpful and got my orders out fast. “The food is hot, fresh and the employees are very nice. Although the lines are long they move fast. The prices are reasonable too. The spicy chicken sandwich combo is a little over $10 with taxes. Delicious!! I especially love the waffle fries.“

On a recent Friday evening, we grabbed a quick dinner from this location. While Chick-fil-A drive-thrus are often packed during peak hours, this visit was surprisingly smooth. We had our order in under 10 minutes, and as always, their drive-thru operation was flawlessly efficient—something I’ve admired since the COVID era.

“Today as of 03/27/25 I ordered the Olivia's old south to-go, chicken salad is always good but this particular day the lady at the counter with no teeth only gives me 5 packs of crackers. Note: what can I only do with 5 packs of crackers? So I go back inn and ask for more so I realize she has a cracker in her hands eating crackers while she is ringing people up. Do she suppose to be working or on her break. So now I see why they are limited on crackers cause she eating them all. Will I come back to this location? Maybe! Do better chicken salad chick cause they actually do have great chicken salad.“

“The service and food was outstanding! I honestly thought I didn't like Chick-fil-A because I don't particularly care for thick pieces of chicken because no matter where you get it, usually it's under cooked. But not thischicken... I decided to just try it. I got the chicken sandwich at the location on Winchester near Riverdale and it was delicious! It was not only thoroughly cooked it was hot, fresh and delicious !! The waffle fries are awesome! I've been going back since. No matter how long the lines are the food is worth the wait.“

“I went to Chick-fil-A at South Germantown Rd. Since the moment I crossed that door I felt welcomed. There is a difference in being served and being served with a smile, it opens a new world of comfort and happiness. The treatment was excellent. “This is a wonderful experience the only thing I can say is that midtown is becoming a haven for the homeless. I loved their service and everything. Very professional and food was good and hot ? I had the big box meal and it did not ? disappoint. They should let that Michael guy run his project to build the homeless a community where they can work and contribute back to society.
