Everything was good but that macaroni and cheese needs help 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤮
The inside of the restaurant needs some updating, but our waitress, Annie, was very nice and an absolute joy to be around. Unfortunately, the food was incredibly salty. My wife and I couldn't even taste or enjoy anything we ordered because the salt overpowered everything. The peach cobbler also had way too much sugar.
I stopped by this classic Southern cafeteria chain for a comforting, nostalgic dinner during my travels. The setup is very old-fashioned and family-friendly, allowing you to walk down the long line and pick exactly what looks good to you. I ordered the fried chicken with sides of mac and cheese and green beans, and everything tasted wonderfully hearty and homemade.
