We were there in the middle of the church rush on Sunday. People were lined up to the door. But, service was fast. I ordered chicken fajitas and they were amazing. My only complaint is that I have to drive all the way to Memphis for Swanky's. Pleeeeeease bring one to Jackson TN.
Audra the bartender was the best, her service was top notch, her drinks were spot on, and her cheerful attitude was magnetic!! Best ever!!!
very good cake, I really recommend the chicken sandwich... tastes wayyy better than chick-fil-a.. 👀
it's like Chipotle basically.. BUT WAAAYYY better, it's always quiet good for focusing and it's always clean 😇
I kid you not.. the drinks are massive, way bigger than the cups they give u in fairs or McDonald's

Swanky's Taco Shop in East Memphis offers tasty food, with options like fish tacos and chicken enchiladas. The restaurant has a quiet atmosphere and provides good customer service, although drinks may be considered just "ok" by some. Prices are decent, and the staff is friendly, but parking can be found in the shared lot with La Maison Antiques.
Be aware that there is an additional location on Poplar Ave, so watch for the correct signage to avoid confusion. While the food is generally well-cooked, there have been occasional issues with kitchen execution in the past. The trivia events can be enjoyable, but some players may find it frustrating due to repeated questions and potential favoritism towards regulars.
