best pulled pork I have had in a long time. I will always recommend this restaurant to everyone. fabulous flavor and friendly service. can't wait to visit there and try something different.

Based on recent reviews, Tops Bar-B-Q & Burgers on Union Ave offers a mixed experience. The burgers are quite good, with the Fireman burger being delicious and worth the trip. The chopped brisket sandwich is good, and the banana pudding is the best ever. However, the inside of the restaurant is gross and dirty. The whole place needs a makeover. Service is inconsistent; some found it friendly and welcoming with quick and efficient service, while others reported employees standing around laughing and not greeting customers. One order had burnt burger patties that tasted old, and the BBQ sandwich meat was mostly chunks of burnt ends and fatty bits. Another order arrived with no lettuce, no tomatoes, no pickles, and just two tiny nuggets of bacon, making for a very distasteful experience. In contrast, others had amazing experiences with perfectly seasoned food and awesome service. The potato salad was good but needed a little salt and pepper. Overall, the food quality and service vary greatly by visit.
