Outstanding service and family style dining. Seating at large family style table, so you enjoy a meal and meet other people from far away places. We enjoyed a myriad of homestead vegetable dishes, fried catfish, fried chicken, spinach lasagna shells, and banana pudding for dessert. Excellent food and great value.
Food was more than plentiful with a large variety of all the food groups. Catfish was my favorite. It was a loud dining experience via the patrons. We went there for the 5pm dining.

Oh my goodness! I'm very late to this party! Only heard about this restaurant the morning we went. Monell's was absolutely delicious! The cheese grits are fantastic. We got our order to go but I'm going back to have the full dine-in experience. I can't wait! 5 stars well deserved. 2024 update: I'm sad to hear that this beloved mansion will be torn down. Monell's at the Manor will certainly be missed by many!
