Shoney's salad bar is still shoney's salad bar. But the hot bar left a lot to be desired. Really it tasted like a Swanson frozen dinner. And that's sad. The service was fine considering that the one hostess was also waiting on half the tables as fast and as hard as you could. She was pleasant about it but you had to be a little patient. The chocolate hot fudge cake was delicious.I suggest trying it if you're in this part of donaldson pike .I loved it. I didnt even buy it for me and it never made it to the intended recipient. I still feel guilty.

The food was fresh and hot. The server was very kind on top of refills and making sure we were having an enjoyable time. Our server made sure for our meals we had napkins condiments of choice so that we didn't have to ask.
