“This is by far my favorite place to eat in this area. The French onion soup is divine. Only feedback or words of caution I have - prepare to experience a very long wait for your food. I’ve had to box my food on multiple occasions due to having places to be after dinner. Excellent food and recommend. I would also like to add - Fox and Hounds did so many good deeds when Newport was flooded by Hurricane Helene. This establishment is an anchor in their community.“

“If I could I would give this place a 10+! The place is so pretty on the inside and very clean. The waitress was exceptional. We didn't have to ask for anything, refills extra napkins etc. We ordered the blackened chicken alfredo with a chef salad and the rib-eye sandwich with sweetpotato fries. The bedt food we have had ever in Newport and we plan on going back again real soon. Please check this place out....you will not ne sorry!!! Thank y'all for such an amazing meal for our anniversary. It was well worth the money and then some. The chef is really on point!!!!“

“We visited Cosby and were there for a week. We dined at Janice’s Diner 4 times…..yes, it is THAT good! Prices are beyond reasonable, staff was super friendly and the food was down home delicious! Do not pass up on this hidden gem!“
